I thought there was this dramatic gap where smart, well-educated people were supporting Obama and only the dumb, poorly educated, “trailer trash” folks were supporting McCain. What does it say for this theory when well-meaning, patriotic, tolerant Democrats are writing such nasty messages that exhibit remarkably poor grammar and spelling ability?

Could this be McCain Derangement Syndrome in action? We need to urge our fellow Americans suffering from this sad condition to get help now.

I had thought that all Democrats graduated from Ivy League schools and lived in Boston. This letter makes me realize I was wrong.

How is it that well-educated people are supporting Obama not asking about his campaigns censorship of Obama’s education experience and associations. Wondering if this post is from his classmates

If none of you have noticed, that’s how the majority of them write. Go look at Facebook and MySpace sometime.

We just sat our college educated oldest down and had a “come to Jesus” about his MySpace centered on the notion that potential employers really do Google you and look for your MySpace and stuff. He went off like a bottle rocket and told us all about how stupid and out of touch (ring a bell?) we were, of course. But I do notice that now that he’s had time for, shall we say, mature reflection, he’s cleaned it up a good bit.
