Anyway… Regarding that Last Word thing… Thanks… but no thanks.

she just sucks...
McPALINation Thursday, October 2nd at 9:09PM EST (link)and knowing something about fashion, I can honestly say that gleaming ugly green jacket might as well be powder BLUE like the cowards of the lib media and dem party! (JUST GOTTA LOVE Mrs. Palin’s Red Shoes!) Could we just please stop hearing Joe try to be this regular, Home Depot, gas pumping guy–who by the way, appears to be absolutely in love with her, and about to defect to our side any minute.
As this clearly unprofessional, biased, “moderator” sits under the red light and lets him keep blabbin’, my living room debate party has noted many times how they/she will never, ever play FAIR, and never, ever let her have the last word. –Although she has HAD the last word time and time again–just schoolin’ him repeatedly! Beautiful! Beautiful!
I AM (very disappointed) JOE
Of course she isn't...
Dukeboy01 (Diary) Thursday, October 2nd at 9:17PM EST (link)There’s books to be sold!!!
Government is evil.
It’s a necessary evil, but it is an evil. Any application of government should be done in a somber fashion, as it is a failure of our humanity that we couldn’t handle it as individual citizens. Deciding whether to apply government to solve a problem should be considered on the same level as burning down an orphanage full of children to solve a problem. Deciding to tax should be thought of like deciding to stab an innocent man for our own gain. Anyone who celebrates government is a ghoulish wretch who must be ostracized from polite society.

Just watch.
Today, there is a name for the political doctrine that rejoices in scarcity of everything except government. The name is environmentalism.

Steven Willis (Diary) Thursday, October 2nd at 9:29PM EST (link)What is fair about that?
She mopped the floor with him.
Joe is a liar.
He needs to stop referring to John and Barrack and needs to wipe that smug grin off his face.
The tears did not impress me. He just has no credibility.
That said, Gwen was in the tank for Joe and Barrack.

Last word, again, Joe?
braininahat Thursday, October 2nd at 9:50PM EST (link)Yeah, no kidding. Biden spoke over his time and got in that last not-so-short word in a few times when Gwen was supposed to be changing the topic. I was disappointed that Palin didn’t insist more on doing the same.
She did great when she relaxed more, spoke freely more, instead of the droll “maverick” lines, which, frankly, I’m tired of.
I saw it as pretty even, perhaps with an edge to Biden, but that wasn’t good enough for him, just like it wasn’t good enough that McCain beat Obama but didn’t dominate him.
