President Bush will send a taped message. Joe Lieberman and Fred Thompson will be the prime time stars.

This morning, RedState will be convening at the top of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown St. Paul to have brunch with Fred Thompson. The view is incredible. Afterwards, we’ll be headed to the XCEL Center for all the live coverage of the event. Likewise, Absentee will recount his getting hit with tear gas.

And what did RedState do in St. Paul last night?

Dark Knight. IMAX.

You have to go all the way to Rogers (about 30 minutes from St Paul). Unless you are talking about the one at the Science Museum, which is really terrible.

I drive a car powered by hydrogen – C8H18 to be exact.

I’d like to keep up with the convention but have been unable to find anything resembling a schedule of speakers and events.

The convention has a website–but I’ve never seen such an unnecessarily busy, confused, and uninformative mess in my life.
