The first three digits are assigned based on where you were born. The 2nd two are broken up per group within the area where you were born.

So the first 5 digits of any SSN can be used to find out where you were born and when you were born relative to everyone else within that particular “area code”. The last 4 digits are the only digits completely unique to who you are.

I was listening to talk radio WLS AM 890 here in Chicago this afternoon and according to Roe Conn who is reporting from the convention, there is some talk that they might be thinking that. I found this to be EXTREMELY upsetting! He’s one of my favorite guys, and usually on the same side, but he was raising some alarming questions.

You may not be familiar with him, but he is a very popular radio guy who has the highest internet audience world wide. He is doing his regular 2-6 radio show from there and also part of the ABC Radio network coverage.

He seems to be having some confusion as to whether or not there is any truth to the AIP rumor of Sarah’s involvement with a secessionist group. I have seen articles refuting it online already, but he seems to be in need of someone to get him information. He is also concerned about her not being properly vetted. I find it very hard to believe that McCain wouldn’t have conducted a very thorough investigation of her.

I cannot emphasis enough how angry and disenchanted I will be, and I’m sure many others, if the McCain camp even THINKS this is a possibility.

If there is any truth to what Conn was reporting, I’m hoping it is just sour grapes from the Republican elites who didn’t want her in the first place.

Erick, Moe, et. al. PLEASE tell me this has NO basis in fact, but yet more mis-information from operatives designed to undermine confidence. I hope one of you there will track him down and give him more complete information!

I had my doubts about McCain, and was happy with the choice of Palin, at least superficially until I learned more about her and saw her in action. I think what the Neo-Coms under-estimated was that their attempts to vilify the Palins and now steal their private information would backfire and galvanize the republican party and conservatives. If there was ever a rallying call, this is it. To quote Admiral Yamamoto, the Neo-Coms should be saying: “I fear that all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant”.

They want to attack her on every front, even on her reformer status, but they won’t touch Obama’s ties with William AYER, who is an unrepentent American Terrorist, who has spent over $40 million dollars with AYER to fund schools and teachers…does anyone find it weird, that in this age of terrorism, that Obama is associating himself with a terrorist. Palin has more Executive experience than the Democratic ticket combined. It’s a shame that Obama, who claims to be a candidate of change, picks a Washington insider to be his running mate. That is insuring that Obama will give 4 more years of NO CHANGE, while McCain has chosen a running mate that is all about change. McCain is the candidate of change, and his actions prove it. McCain will never disrespect the office of the President of the United States, while Democrats have a record of defiling the oval office through their bad judgements and decisions, and have had extra Marital affairs…John McCain would not do this to the Oval office. McCain is not perfect, but he has had the experience to make the tough decisions. McCain is his own man, unlike Obama, who copy’s McCain’s moves because he has none of his own. It is also interesting that Obama says this is not a country of Christians, and should not be run by Christians, and states some old principles of the Old Testament like: Slavery, stoning children, etc. All Christians know that once Jesus came into the picture, the Old Testament was moot…it was out of date and no more. Jesus said, follow me, and do as I do, not as the old testament says. It is no wonder that Obama, Who claims to be a Christian, would make a statement like that, and it proves that he is not a Christian, because if he was, he would know the difference between the Old testament and the New Testament, and that the New Testament trumps the Old Testament because of Jesus. With Obama making statements like that, I can’t believe that he calls himself a Christian. The Fact is, the McCain/Palin ticket is far stronger than the Obama/Biden ticket, and that has the liberal media and the Democrats in the Angry left scared, and they are willing to say anything and do anything to discredit Palin, and to diminish their chances of gaining the White House. I believe that all this bad press will have a back lash against the democrats, because the voters can see what is happening, and the stated candidate for change (Obama) is acting nothing like a candidate of change, and is not telling the liberal Media to back off, and the liberal Media is doing Obama’s bidding, helping Obama to keep his hands clean. He wants to do that in this climate of the WAR on TERRORISM, which again shows his inexperience and bad judgement. He wants to cut things like the Military to pay for his other bad ideas, and he wants to tax American’s more, not less. With a Democratic congress, he can pass whatever he chooses. Just because you can talk the talk, does not mean you walk the walk. He is a celebrity in an empty suit with empty talk. Obama and Biden have no Military service, and don’t know what it is to be in harm’s way. Senator McCain knows, and so does Govenor Palin. They also have children in the Military, so they know about sacrifice. Since McCain knows about being in Harm’s way, he will think twice before sending troops, but his resolve is strong. At the end of the day, McCain will make the right decision, and make it with good judgement. Obama will not. When he went to the church with the Rev. WRIGHT speaking out against whites, against the Government, and said God D#*@ America…going to that church for 20 years while the Pastor of the church said these things was very bad judgement as a person and horrible as a Christian. If you cannot make the right decision on a church, how can he be expected to make the right decision when it comes to National Security??!!!!Obama has no Experience…just call him Nobama. Is already known. Why didn’t it get redacted, though is now? The structure of the SS# is easy to guess at. Here, I’ll prove it. First set of numbers for Alaska is 574.
The next 2 numbers are based on DOB(look up for yourself what they are). The small population states don’t have enough population to make this hard to guess, while looking for NJ born in 1960 would give you 4-5 combinations.

Unless you have willingly changed it or are an anomaly, SS# is very transparent – part of the reason it shouldn’t be used for Identification, and the reason why the last 4 numbers are so important. It’s a very weak ID.

The information the document is from Lexis-Nexis, a company that provides a host of information to businesses.

The Democrats didn’t redact anything. Lexis-Nexis only provides the first 5 numbers of an SSN due to security reasons.

Now, this database search service is very expensive to subscribe to. It is most often used by banks, credit unions, mortgage companies and other financial or law based companies in order to obtain general information on people or businesses.

I would bet my bottom dollar that Lexis Nexis logs each and every search (kind of like the Police track all license plates look ups), and would be able to find out who supplied this information.

I would recommend many of you do a Google seach using the key words “Mccains Black Child 2002″ and see what the Bush Campaign did Mccain in 2002. Just do your own research. This smells of Karl Rove..who is NOT a Mccain supporter. Be careful when placing blame. I smell an in house rat here.
