Michael Savage said that she should be dumped. He said she’s a horrible pick and a disgrace. I think Savage is fast becoming irrelevant.

I also believe the McCain campaign – and McCain personally – knew everything before the announcement. I suspect, however, that because of the speed with which this went from closely held secret to publicly announced, not everyone on the team knew everything right away. It takes a while for a fat stack of still confidential vetting docs to get into the right hands, while protecting them from the wrong hands. Some of the people who were going to be involved in presenting some of these facts ended up, I suspect, a half step behind fast moving facts because of the lag in information sharing.

Its about time I started seeing video of my future VP putting lead downrange with an M4! I agree with both of you above re: Savage and no way is she leaving. By next week this time the doubters will be singing a different tune. She is amazing and soon everyone will see this as well.
The story about her daughter is also going to die, and BO has only helped this along with his remarks. All the BS “bad” intel is out this week and forgotten by next. Everybody in Alaska loves her, she damn near walks on water up there.

I guarantee you McCain’s on top of all this. It’s just in his nature. He’s an astute politician and tonight’s applause every time Palin was mentioned tells me he’s done the right thing.

I am crazy about Palin for VP. Thrilled would be an understatement. And she’ll do fine, you just wait and see.

McCain lit the torch and now we just gotta’ carry the fire home.

And we have to hold media accountable for what they’re trying to do to her.

Media is running scared–that’s the only time they get vicious. And they are scared their idol won’t win.

This is exactly what happened to Hillary. These smears are coming out of the dark corners of his campaign while he admonishes them in public.

The “Introducing Governor Sarah Palin” video would not have been sent this evening if there was even a glimmer of a thought of dumping her. It’s not happening.

And it is increasingly frustrating to me that I even need to argue the point that the media is biased. I have to assume bad faith on the part of anyone ostensibly doubting that fact anymore. It’s like forcing me to argue that the sun is hot or the sky is blue.

that McCain saw all of this coming. Even without Gustav, he should have known that the pregnancy story would overshadow the convention – and why would he do that purposefully? I’m left thinking that his team thought they could keep the issue under wraps until a more convenient time, but can’t imagine when that would be. The MSM smells blood in the water – I don’t think this week is going to be pretty.

For all this to “come out”? The way and the timing that all this crap has come down the shute gives Mrs. Palin a chance to bury it tomorrow night.

If it had done a drip drip drip all through September and October everyone would have forgoten what she said back on September 3rd.

I have never seen such a biased two week of supposedly objective media coverage of the conventions as Larry King has the gall to pretend to be.

Let me just begin by saying I am a new member of this blog. I have been an avid John McCain supporter since he started his presidential bid. Even when it looked bleak, and he was a out of money, I stood by him and donated.

I have agreed the status of the pregnancy of Palins daughter should not be our concern or the media’s. That is a personal private family matter.

However, today we learned that Palin was a member of a fringe group in Alaska seeking independence! My God people, do you know how severe the repercussions from that can be? Forget about calling Obama unpatriotic, Palin supposedly at one time supported independence for Alaska!!!

I can’t vote for a ticket, no matter how much I admire McCain, if he has a secessionist on the ballot. Has anyone else heard about this? And if so, what do you think? Tell me, please, it must be some crazy liberal lie! If not, I might consider (gasp) voting for Obama.

as a mother & business owner, I think Gov. Palin seems to have an REAL issue with family management/mismanagement and since she will be a heartbeat away from the Presidency I feel uncomfortable with the possibility of her in the Oval Office. If you can’t guide and manage your family in making responsible choices how can you manage the country? I think McCain (or campaign team) showed poor judgment in choosing Palin. There are so many better choices he could have made if he wanted someone that had “Executive” experience, such as Gov. Blount of Missouri, or if he wanted a woman on the ticket why not Gov. Linda Lingle of Hawaii, she has more experience as an “Executive” than Palin. Sorry but I don’t think Gov. Palin is a winner for Senator McCain.

Sarah Palin has great family management skills that you will never achieve in your lifetime, which will be much longer than your virtual lifetime on this site.

I am really jazzed about Sarah Palin. I have high expectations of her, and I don’t think I will be disappointed. I told my wife this morning that this whole media frenzy will most likely benefit the McCain/Palin ticket. I believe that there will be a huge backlash from fair-minded voters against the leftist smear machine, which includes the MSM and the sycophant leftist bloggers. It is plain to see that they are visibly and unashamedly in the tank for Obama. When the dust settles, I think Sarah will dust herself off and continue on stronger than before. At her feet will be the vanquished MSM media lying lifeless in a pool of their own self-created irrelevancy.

Is Sarah Palin the Alaska Independence Party supporter and sympathizer really a true patriotic American?

Sarah Palin maybe weak minded and clueless without her husband , since her husband participated in every official meetings she had in Alaska.

Obviously none of them had enough time for parenting, look at what happened to their children.

Given that her husband, the first dude of Alaska, was a prominent card carrying member of that secessionist anti-USA AIP party,

one should conclude that because of his seemingly big influence over her and given her sympathies, she would not hesitate to help liberate Alaska from our union, if she becomes President of the United States of America.

As a preemptive stipulation, if a person and their immediate spouse freely joined, supported and sympathized with any party that clearly abhors and seeks the dissolution of our union,

then that should be grounds to disqualify that person from obtaining the highest office in our land, period end of story.
