Had this been a regular recurring gay marriage meeting, a meeting of any other religion, minority group or the local Church of St Darwin nothing would have occurred. But now in San Diego County it is illegal to hold a home bible study without a permit from the county. I imagine it is also illegal to hold Conservative political group meetings, and fly the American flag. Like the nurse that was forced to remove her flag from her cubicle because is offended an African immigrant coworker.

What bothers me is the County agent supposedly questioned them that the meeting was specifically a bible study, If it was a Amway meeting, meeting of any other minority group no problem.
Home bible studies are one of the best ways for believers to build strong relationships of support and community. It was a “community organizing meeting”. Do you think our current president ever needed a permit for one of his meetings?

Are there parking issues?
Traffic in the neighborhood issues?
Fire or other legitimate safety issues?
Failing some impact on the neighbors quality of life, I don’t see how this ruling will stand, it’s just plane nuts. I had an immediate next door neighbor who ran bible study from their home, not a problem at all and their visitors created no problems.
