For those of you who don’t realize, K Street is where all the lobbyists live.

Legislators in Congress cannot get a copy of the bill, yet K Street already has it.  Reporters trying to confirm rumors they heard on K Street are calling House/Senate staffers to learn details of the current stimulus and are discovering that Congressional members do not have a copy yet.  

No sense in letting lawmakers see the latest copy until the K Street lobbyists have signed of on the bill.

So much for promises from both the White House and Congress, that lobbyists will be excluded…
