I was listening to a recap of this weeks news and the whole 9/11 re-enactment with Air Force One came up again, this time framed with the thought; “Of Course The White New About It. That’s Who Ordered It.”

It’s not like some teenaged kid sneaked out late at night in mom’s station wagon. It’s friggen AIR FORCE ONE!, THE PRESIDENTS PLANE!

Think about it, the guy has only two of them so it’s more than a little unlikely that nobody but the white house office of military affairs knew about this.

I know that that the president looks at us as bitter, god-loving, gun-totin, knuckle-dragging Neanderthals, but please, don’t add credence to the stereotype by being distracted by the shiny thing in his other hand. We are definitely being manipulated and lied to.

So that got me to thinking: The whole photo op thing so doesn’t pass the smell-o-meter either.

NOBODY IN THE WHITE HOUSE HAS HEARD OF PHOTO SHOP?

Because so many things are spewing out of congress and the white house as well as the media/white house blitz about the virus ‘formerly known as SWINE FLU’ makes me wonder what is really going on?

Then it hit me.

When I was a kid growing up across the bay from San Francisco, my mom would very occasionally take my brother and I to Fishermans Wharf where we would be tourists for a day. One of the attractions was HELICOPTER RIDES TO SEE THE CITY FROM ABOVE. I Always Wanted To Go On One Of Those Rides…

If I were a narcisstic, god-like, halo-wearing president like the president, why wouldn’t I send some of my new best friends, the heads of rogue states who came calling on a first-class ride over NYC. I couldn’t use Marine One because, well that takes too long to get from D.C. to NYC. Heck, for all I know it was the suadi prince whose behind, errr…I mean ring got kissed a couple of weeks ago. Or maybe it was one of China’s loan sharks who came to remind our great father of the increasing vig owed….Whatever or whoever it was, it wasn’t just an oops, I forgot to mention I was borrowing the presidents plane to fly over NYC while being chased by two F-15′s. Just because the president wasn’t in the plane does not mean it was empty.

Why hasn’t this question been investigated? All we hear is that King Obama was visiting the secretaries at the FBI, (Don’t tell Michelle…).

Just to quell the naysayers: I am not nor have ever been a whack-job conspiracy person. I am simply having a hard time believing that the White House wasn’t aware that the PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA’s BOEING 747 wasn’t at Andrews AFB…. And that so far, this president has appointed tax cheats, shake-down artists and women who wear scary pant suits to key cabinet positions. These are not the actions of someone who would NEVER consider using AIR FORCE ONE as a tour bus. I mean really, in the last 100 DAYS, more has been done to diminish the stature of the presidency since watergate. Why wouldn’t he let his friends go for a ride in his private jet…..

The headline is not hyperbole.

We Republicans have failed to communicate our values and beliefs well enough to be elected to a majority.

Without serious change in areas of our image and how we communicate to ALL Americans, we are not going to effect any real change that includes control of the three branches of govenment.

In fact, unless we change quickly, our party will likely become legislated into irrelevancy, (Reconciliation).

Think about it for a few minutes.

Really.

Our opposition controls all branches of government as well as the majority of the media outlets. Worse yet, the ones they do not control are under attack to eliminate their effectiveness, (‘Fairness’ Doctrine).

One of the main reasons Obama won and is so popular is because of an unbelievably effective political machine that managed to wring as much usefulness out of the internet as possible and through grass roots organizing, inspire a formerly non-voting group of Americans to put their i-phones down and pull the lever.

Our party instead is primarily controlled by White Middle-Aged Males. At least that’s how we look to the average joe and joeleen. Now that’s not to say that the current crop of slimy democrats in power aren’t also, but unlike the dems, we do not have the luxury of hypocrisy.

Unless and until there is new blood in the RNC, as well as at the statewide and local levels, we are going to continue to be accurately portrayed as the party of the rich, white and powerful, (Nevermind that our chairman is African-American), the public has a perception that we suck at changing and look after those who run companies instead of those who work at companies.

For a brief moment on April 15, Conservatives behaved like they were supposed to; We stood together in defiance of a government bent on changing itself into a socialist-dictatorship where all dissenting thought is deemed ‘extremist activism coming from potential domestic terrorists’.

On April 15, we stopped behaving like Republicans and started behaving like Conservatives. The grass-roots organizing that led to the tea parties across America is exactly what is needed to win back America for Americans rather than Republicans winning back America for their friends who helped them get elected.

Sad as it may be, Obama used the same type of grass-roots organizing along with a willing mainstream media to grab the white house and in doing so, managed to drag along a bunch of amoral, America-hating, crooked democrats. At the same time, he was able to define us as the bad guys and managed to make doing so look fun.

The Tea Parties Did The Same Thing!

Unless we continue to build a new conservative movement that replaces those who are now in place and start behaving like average joes who are fun to be around, we are white toast.

Learn to fight and make it fun to attack our opponents. Bury the serious agenda within levity and we might have a chance to reach those who think we are a bunch of boring, overweight white guys.

By the way, Palin did that at the beginning and all stops were pulled out to derail her before the real momentum kicked in. The dems are still so afraid of her that their is a definite concerted effort to marginalize her and prevent any possibility of her return to the national arena. That’s because she appeals to the average joe. It’s that simple. The Tea Parties appealed to the average joe too. So if you’re an average joe do something that matters and start fighting for your country while you are still free to do so…

I’m an average joe and I approved of this message…

I just finished watching a video of panicked New Yorkers running through the streets to get away from a low flying jumbo jet being chased by fighter jets.

Turns out it was the work of our administration who decided that it would make a good photo-op to have the NYC in the background of air force one with its fighter escort.

Apparently, nobody at the white house, thethough about the consequences of mimicking the most horrible attack on America.

The Obama administration seems to be displaying a habit that is usually found in teenaged boys: POOR IMPLUSE CONTROL!

Being male, I struggle with this issue periodically, much to the frustration of my wife, (Look at my shiny new gun honey!!!), in my case I am not the ruler of the most powerful nation on earth so the consequences rarely cause a panic in the streets of America’s largest city. Below is a link to an article written by Mike Emanuel (Rham Emanuels evil twin brother) of Foxnews.com

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/first100days/2009/04/27/white-house-official-apologizes-air-force-photo-op-new-york-city/

This link will take you to the article where you can also find the link to the video of terrified New Yorkers. I strongly recommend watching the video, it is a powerful reminder of how unprotected America is with a weak president at its helm. I would love to see this video spread throughout the internet because it is such a strong and simple reminder of 9/11. After watching the video, I was instantly brought back to those terrible days after 9/11 and it reminded me how vigilant we need to be of the threat that militant Islamic religion is to Americans and any other people who would oppose its absolute rule. I guess I should that Barney Obama for that but I won’t. For such a smart guy, he can sure do some seriously idiot things. Honestly, I would much prefer President Bush’s mangling on the english language to the retarded decision to do a flyover of NYC with a JUMBO JET BEING CHASED BY FIGHTER JETS!! My God, just writing those words make me wonder what kind of dope they are putting into their bongs at the white house…

In Mike Emanuel’s article it states: “White House Military Office Director Louis Caldera said he approved the mission last week and that federal authorities took the proper steps to notify state and local authorities in New York and New Jersey. In a brief statement after the flight, the New York Police Department acknowledged it was aware the flight was happening, but claimed the Federal Aviation Administration told them not to talk about it. ”

POOR IMPULSE CONTROL, plain and simple.

How many of us can look back at a time, hopefully long ago, that after we did something really stupid, we asked ourselves, “What the heck was I thinking?”

I really do not want a president and an administration who struggles with this issue. I am certain that there are medications that can help with this issue….besides marijuana….

I am fortunate enough to be self-employed and quite busy right now. I spend my time working in the Sacramento, California and Phoenix, AZ region selling bank repos. I travel between the two states weekly because that’s what it takes to earn a living right now. An average workweek is somewhere between 70-85 hours/week, not including flight time between the two regions. I am happy to have the job.

While I am busy, I would be a lot happier if I were making enough money to pay for my bills AND my son’s upcoming college tuition but for now will have to just work harder and hope that it makes enough of a difference to cover the shortfall when he starts his first year there this fall.

Apparently, that mindset is not one held by the majority of left-leaning Americans. Instead their perspective seems to be to make the government make up the difference by taking the needed funds from people like me who believe in hard work and paying their own way.

In California, I see this mindset all around me and quite honestly, it disgusts me. I live in a comparitively affluent community and even there, a reliance on cousin Barry & his gang of tax cheats to solve our problems seems to be growing. The county I live in has been one of the most conservative areas in California, which is lot like saying my part of hell is cooler than yours…. That is changing rapidly and our local republican party contributes to the problem by being more of a middle-aged country club than something that would appeal to the average American. Hmmm, maybe that’s part of our problem too.

In Arizona, I spend 3-4 days every week working in a variety of neighborhoods, most of which are decidedly NOT affluent. The economy there is teetering towards a crash and yet the people I meet within all strata of society tend to be much more positive, self reliant and conservative despite a very difficult set of economic and social circumstances. Every day, I come into contact with a variety of individuals and in almost every case, their main concern they have is that our current administration is trying to steal the few remaining liberties we have as Americans and wondering why Washington won’t just get out of the way and let them do their job. There is also a notable lack of political correctness which I find truly refreshing. I would move there tomorrow were it not for the fact that my wife deplores 100 degree-plus weather, (I’m working on this…).

Last week I went into a gun shop located in a small phoenix suburb named Glendale, AZ. (By the way, I did not notice any Mexican Drug Cartels Buying Military Grade Weapons in the store to take back to their country…) While perusing the wares, I asked about the firearms laws and was’t surprised to find that they were substantially more sensible than California. When I mentioned this to the owner, his reply was, “That’s because unlike you, we are still free. For now…)”.

He suggested I get a book on the states firearms laws because while they may be less restrictive than California’s gun laws, they also required a lot more personal responsibility for my actions than I have in California.

In California, it’s my parents fault, or maybe the junk food I ate, or maybe global warming and I am positive that whatever I did wrong at some level had to be the with President Bush & Vice President Cheney….

Imagine That. A set of laws that require the citizen to be accountable for their actions. Many examples of laws like this exist throughout the state of Arizona. I can only guess they are there because they reflect the values of the majority of its citizens.

It reminds me of how things were when I was a wee lad growing up in Southern California.

So how are things in your state?

What do you think about being responsible for your actions?

Are there enough of us left to save what remains of our great nation so our children have a country they can be proud of?
