"anointed one" from Palin in her acceptance speech and the continuing blindside volleys from her web site that are proving effective enough to make "Death Panels" synomous with the current health care bill debate.

McCain made a token effort on behalf of the GOP leadership to reach out to conservatives by nominating Palin. All that was heard prior to this announcement was about his outreach to Democrats and independents as a leading reach across the aisle politician mainly to the libs and the "whhhaaaaatttttttteeeeeevvvvvvveeeerrrrrrr" to the conservative base on judicial nominees at the Gang of fourteen, and vote against the Bush tax cuts.
So Palin is so welcomed to the conservative political scene as fresh air in whatever role she plays, and John McCain has my wholehearted "wa'te'r" for the rest of his career.

I thought it was a great move by McCain, given that the VP candidates have historically been irrelevant in November, to get a solid short term gain by stealing Obama's post-convention bounce.

Furthermore, every attack against Palin would expose the weaknesses of Obama, only more so. Palin's not experienced? Well, she's got more executive experience than Obama. Palin's daughter and fiance are expecting? Well, Biden's son is under indictment. Don't like Palin's church? Well, no one there is saying GD America!

The media is working hard to Quayle her; they treated Reagan the same way. It will take a Reaganesque performance to beat them. I know there's a lot of love here, but right now I think the media is winning.

The big city media banked it's credibility on the whitewashing of Barrack Obama's record... and it's tar & feather job of Sarah Palin.

As the sleepy populous awakens to find a radical socialist in the White House, they recognize they were deceived. These lies will insure that the influence of old guard news outlets will continue to wane.

If life and liberty loving people can somehow neutralize the impact of socialists for just a few more years, we will have an opportunity to right the ship.

Sorry for double posting. My final thought was my disgust with what is put in front of our faces every night when we get home from work and every morning when we wake up. Hypocrisy is something I can't believe any American would like. It seems to be the theme of our Government and has been for many years. A straight shooter and 'average' American like Sarah Palin and others to come deserve our consideration. Strange to see America the Beautiful being 'Allowed" to be sung for Ted Kennedy yet it’s banned in most other places. Very Sad

I also remember those months when my hopes were so high. Sarah Palin was a breath of fresh air we have not seen for so long. I have become increasingly fed up with ALL....... or most in the Government today. Not sure what other choice people have? 3rd parties have crashed and burned for decades. I was talking with my boss/fellow employee this week about health care and other politics when we came to a different concept than I had considered over the 52yrs of my life. It’s right in front of our faces!

Now I don't have anything against lawyers. They certainly serve their purpose in society like every other profession. I have several in my family and have called and appreciated their knowledge at several points in my life. BUT, having said that, consider this:

There is, in my opinion, a substantial amount of anger at the 'structure' of our Government. It has been founded on the 'you grease my palm and I will grease yours' concept since the beginning of TAXES! It has come to the point where the only thing transparent is the boldness of its participants. We in the 'Real World' feel helpless. We want OUR Freedom BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They work for us!

So here is my point. While listening to Howard Dean give his lame excuse to a question about why there is no 'Tort Reform' in the Health Care bill, I thought Duhhhhhh There is no Tort Reform because everyone writing the bill is a LAWYER!!!!!!! Why doesn’t anyone bring this up?, because they are all lawyers on both sides. Now let me make this clear, there is nothing wrong with the law profession. But if there is a lawyer in DC that proposes Tort Reform I have not heard of on. Perhaps you have.

I suggest that from now on anyone that has a D or R next to their name be also required to have L to let us know their slant on their views. I have several Doctors in my family and Tort Reform would substantially reduce the cost of healthcare, increase the total percent of coverage of the population with NO cost to us! There are too many Lawyers in our Government and far too few ordinary people!!! That is why Sarah Palin is so attractive. Regardless of if it her or someone else, we need 'Ordinary' people protecting us every 4yrs.

The 3rd party is right in front of our faces. I say strict term limits and people like Sarah Palin to stir up the Hornets Nest called DC and things will get better.

That there are far too many high-profile "conservatives" willing to sell out their "cause" to gain favor with the news media and that there is almost no accountability for their treason.

I still recall that seminal moment in American meia history. I was waiting for a job interview and it broke...
I may not have gotten the job, but I sure did earn a new friend in Sarah Palin. Her genuine warmth was self-evident and the cameramen and could see it through $60K cameras, and the reporters were treating their microphones like (insert your imagination here).
Sarah Palin broke out a previously unrecognized joy that true conservatives were waiting to unleash there energy and capital FOR. The Obamedia launched into their continuing assault of this good woman's character and family.
While I recognize that I don't know everything about the good woman, I have not yet been proved wrong by trusting my gut instincts about her in a year. When those instincts last this long, they're normally right on for forever.
I've taken my boycott of MSM all they way to their entertainment divisions. I'll have to hold judgement on NFL time. Any sign of KO, all pretenses of enjoying the season on TV are off for ALL TEAMS.
