The real trick is to keep calling them on it.

I think it was linked at Drudge and the headline included “Gibbs should be fired” which would explain why I read it. I always thought Gibbs cavalier attitude about the flyover incident was indicative of the administration’s insensitivity.

But what really jumped out at me was her reference to “susceptible minds” in the part about Davis reading Feherty.

The woman is simply blinded to reality if she is more concerned about the “susceptible” minds on the right than on the left. Not just because the crazies on the left are mainstream but also and more importantly because followers of the left are such sheep. They are not independent thinkers, they are incapable of reasoned debate, they believe what all the crazies say and last but not least they are angry, screaming, profanity spewing lunatics.

The fringe on the right might very well be dangerous but they have no support and they are not encouraged by the mainstream.

I know I’m not as smart or refined as Paglia but I’m satisfied I’m more rational because of her huge glaring Liberal Blind Spot (Liberals good, conservatives bad).

Until yesterday, I felt that the ardent democrats were at worst ignoring facts and bringing up opinions as they defended each other and the Obamanation. That changed as I saw and heard Lannie Davis (on Hannity) defend Nancy Pelosi with the “She was attending classified briefings. Of course she couldn’t tell us what she heard” canard. A classic Clintonian gambit. No attempt to confront the facts, just an end around following a complete misrepresentation of reality. No only is his statement a non sequitur, it attempts to derail the discussion with a red herring.

Now, we find that Camille Paglia has signed up for the campaign. Damn the truth, full prevarication ahead.
