AZ doesn’t have a LtGov. And she’s less than impressive.

Arizonians have a long and checkered history of reelecting our Governors come hell, high water or IQs that approach a rock. Unless something magical happens, she’ll win. It’ll probably be a close election, but who cares.

…and all I can say is that Brewer comes off as very unimpressive.

In general, the people who are elected as *Lt.* Governor of most states are near the bottom of the pile (see: CA’s Cruz Bustamante).

but he’s been around pretty much forever and is pretty unimpressive. At the state level, right now, the R’s have better organization than the D’s and Brewer will make nice-nice with the legislature before the summer is over.

For the record, I like Jan Brewer just as much as I like John McCain. They are two peas in a pod.

I am not so sure about that Brewer seems to have some problems from what I read with state leg controlled by Republicans right now. She is for some tax increases I believe?

The Dems nominee is sure to be Attorney Gen Goddard who does have same name id.

Hopefully, we can regain 3 of those House seats we lost in Arizona in past 2 cycles.

Janet Napolitano’s replacement will run in ’10. She’ll win. The D’s don’t have anyone with statewide name recognition.

Brewer will also hurt conservatives on the down races because of her pro-tax, pro-fed$$ fight with the legislature.
