Hell, 55 is more than enough and they could probably get by very well with 52. See the cloture vote today. Eleven Rs voted Yea. And there will be no penalty for any of them.

My guess is that GOP prospects will brighten considerably in OH by 2010, and replacing Voinovich with someone who’s at least semi-conservative would be a definite improvement.
