I guess a Swedish filmmaker was doing a doc on US Election and has scenes of an African American teacher mocking little kids who say they would vote for McCain and then tells a little girl that McCain/Republicans support a war which would make her dad stay in Iraq for another 100 years

I will say that this shows why teachers/college professors squash and intimidate Republicans but the fact this teacher does this to such young kids is an act of bullying on her part and we all know it happens. I dealt with it myself in hs having a liberal teacher have a question and putting in parenthesis this question was just for me on the test.

Happily I know no one (so far) who is defending this woman. I’d like to be made aware of anyone who does. She should be ostracized.

This is absolutely sickening, but I assure you the intellect and opinion of this teacher is not uncommon in the state of North Carolina.

How much more of this is happening without any record? Why not pass a law allowing parents to film their children’s teachers (as long as they don’t disrupt the classroom)?

My 5 year old son who just started kindergarten will not know the national anthem or who George Washington is. He will be able to recite a poem about The One, and be quite knowledgable about slavery and the Ku Klux Klan.
Thank you, Senator McCain, for not bringing up Rev. Jeremiah Wright. That sure did the trick in getting you that coveted Colin Powell endorsement! But hey, doesn’t it make you feel much better to know that he ran such an honorable campaign?

However, the little guy made me quite proud Tuesday… his teacher gave him an assignment; to write about what he would do if he were president.
With no prodding from me, his first response was “I would make sure the country was safe”.
And he voted for McCain in the school’s mock election.
So anyway, just wanted to throw in a bit of good news: his school system hasn’t gotten to him yet. Of course, with due diligence, I’ll make sure it never does, but that’s a different story.
