At this point McCain and Palin are harmless, and hopefully will remain so. If you want to hang someone in effigy, here are some vastly more deserving candidates:
Bush, Chaney, Rove, Norquist, Chertoff, Paulson, Wall Street, CEO’s of banks and corporations, etc.

These folks are guilty as hell. Some should be tried as war criminals, and impeached 4 years ago. Instead we re-elected them!! Shame on us. So if you feel inclined to disparage anyone, place the blame where it belongs.

but if the same were done to Obama in effigy, we’d have planeloads of FBI and Secret Service people there before the day was out.

Hanging Palin’ in Hollywood, oops, forgot, Women (Sex) isn’t a Special Protected Class when it comes to Hate Crime – which just shows the folly of such “Affirmative Action Arrest” inducements. Anyway…

The Palin HUNG from a roof IS an implied threat, and there-fore should REQIURE SECRET SERVICE to investigate so the SS should raid this home and do their job (as they would if it were a hanging Barack).
It is against the law to ‘incite violence’ and therefore local Prosecutors should issue a written warning (served first-hand) and if it doesn’t come down the next day a Warrant should be obtained to have it Physically removed by local law enforcement (and again) the home searched to ensure there isn’t any other “evidence” of threats toward the VP candidate.
