Early reports are usually wrong… but this is what is I gather happened.

The captain jumped overboard again. I guess the Navy figured they’d wait for that chance, and went in and did what the the US military does best, kill people and break things.

When a Democrat is in the whitehouse, his military use is patient and thoughtful.

But…

When a Republican is in office, he’d have been described as a “cowboy, a warmonger, etc.”

Fortunately for us, the word about his bow got out to the general public.

To be fair, to the extent that President Obama’s direction—or his willingness to stay out of the way and let the professionals do their work—helped this happy result come about, kudos to him.

This will only cause more unwashed and barbaric sub-humans to join the pirates efforts. We ought to be attacking the root causes of piracy instead of engaging in mindless violence.

To also ignore those in this country who cave in when bullied…. I knew a few of them in school and they amounted to nothing, LOL

I do think that overall the administration’s foreign policy looks disastrous so far, so don’t misconstrue this.

But it may be that he refused to talk about it during the discussion on the housing crisis because he knew the SEALs were working on it. If that’s correct, his discretion was appropriate.

… why does the phrase “Easter SEALs” come to mind?

Even though the “Christian” Nation is in decline and falling.
I suppose it is just possible that the reason the President said so very little about this was in order to allow those on scene to do their job.
What I hate is the thought of how the left might, probably will, spin this to make the Administration sound all brilliant and not just lucky to have ‘inherited’ a military capable of such action.
Finally, I can hope that the President learns a valuable lesson from this particular crisis.
Sometimes, you simply have to fight back.
