The Media’s behavior in this presidential election goes beyond bias into election rigging. If a cipher with no real accomplishments beats a war hero with 30 years of civilian experience because the talking heads want this, I’ll be disconnecting my cable TV and cancelling my subscription to the Denver Post. I’ll miss the FoxNews channel but the web will more than make up for that. No Time, no Newsweek, no nothing. If millions of Conservatives and Republicans do likewise, many in the media will lose their jobs – exactly the opposite of what they planned. Beyond politics, more media product is sold in times of change and uncertainty. Obama’s election (should it occur) is therefore very welcome from a bottom-line standpoint by the media. Let’s give them nuclear winter.
