Michael Steele is a JOKE

I just don’t get it, check that, the RNC doesn’t get it. Why can’t the national party figure out that they are continuing to take us down the wrong path. We are a conservative party and demand a conservative leader. If Steele cannot support Rush, who has taken us to victory on his wings more than any RNC Chairman could ever hpoe to do, than we don’t need him. Now is the time to fight the Communist Democrat party head on with an unrelentless assault annd we cannot let up. If we don’t fight hard now, the country will be lost forever. Steele and his moderate pals like Jim Greer, his advisor from Florida, are turning us into where the Democrat party was 20 years ago. Now they are flat out communists. If he doesn’t get his act together soon, it will be time to recall him and elect a new chairman. I am SICK and TIRED of “republican leaders” who do not proudly push our conservative platform. Life, Traditional Marriage, Lower taxes, Strong national defense, gun rights, and a pro-corporation government is all we expect. We need to stop trying to fit everyone under our tent and work on explaining our platform and converting people to our beliefs. I will not stop or let up untill everyone agrees with me. I will not abandon my principles on one issue, I will never give in on any af our core issues, and our leadership must not either.

Random thoughts on Colin Powell

In hearing what Colin Powell had to say about the state of the republican party, I have a few rebuttals to make. He said he despised Sara Palin because all she talked about was small towns and noone lives in small towns that’s why they are small. He also said he’s from the Bronx and what is wrong with his values being from there. Mr. Powell, I live in a small town. My county has 16,000 residents and only one red light. There is a lot to be said about small town people. We are very hard working, mostly agricultural, and very faithful and family oriented people. Small town America is America. We don’t have abortion clinics out here. We don’t have prostitues on the corners out here. We don’t have murders and rapes out here, all of which occur regularly in the Bronx or San Fran”psycho” or Chicago or any other big town. Out here all we have are red blooded freedom loving flag waving Americans. Our churches are packed on Sunday mornings. Our citizens take pride in taking care of themselves, we don’t depend on the government out here. What we are tired of is Washington and big city elitists thumbing there nose at us and looking down upon us. We don’t want your big city values corrupting our way of life. We are tired of you guys looking down on us because we value family time over sin and fournication. We love Sara Palin because she gets it. We are America. She is one of us and she shares our values and our faith and love of this country. Look at that map Mr. Powell. There is an awful lot more area covered by small towns than large ones. We will not appologize for our way of life. Mr. Powell, you don’t get it. And in what he had to say about the republican party needing to go more toward the middle, we just had the most moderate candidate we ever had run for president and Colin Powell did not even endorse him. Colin Powell is right when he said we need to redefine the party, just not in the way he talked about. Centrism is our problem and for too long we have governed from the center in hopes of getting along. The past two election cycles have proven that being in the middle will only lead to defeat. Maybe it is Colin Powell and his country club blue blood Rockefeller republicans who are the problem. Maybe it is time for them to go.

Today is a great day

Bye-bye-Mel

What a great day. One of the chief rino’s, Mel Martinez, announced he is retiring from the Senate. Goodbye Mel you were never a republican anyway Mr. amnesty for illegals. With this great news Floridians have reason to hope for a positive outcome as we have some strong conservatives who could run for the seat. Jeb’s name has to be mentioned, he was the best governor Florida ever had. Crist can’t hold a candle to Jeb. State Representative and former speaker of the Florida House Marco Rubio is a hard-right leaning republican with a bright future. Congressman Cliff Stearns from Ocala has long been one of the most conservative members of the House. Attorney General Bill McCollum (who lost the Senate race in 2000 to Bill Nelson), has strong credentials. Those would be the top four contenders. Others to consider may be:
Charles Bronson (Agriculture Comm), Jeff Kottkamp(Lt. Gov., no thanks, no Crist water carriers), Congressman Adam Putnam, Congressman Connie Mack, and Orange County Mayor Richard Crotty. The democrats will probably run Alex Sink, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Dan Gelber, Buddy Dyer, or the biggest loser of them all, Robert Wexler. All beatable. Floridians do have reason to be excited maybe us conservatives can steal a seat back.

It’s time to wake up and take charge

It is time for conservatives to stand up and take back this party. For too long we have put many of our principles aside in the hopes of getting along with the democrats. Our leaders do not get it, democrats do not get along. You give the democrats an inch and they want a mile. They do not play nice and they do not back down. We truly have become a party of wimps since Newt left the House and we never had any real control of the Senate. What we need is leadership in congress who will be willing to fight tooth and nail with the lefties. We haven’t had that. What we’ve had is people running the party who thought that by getting along with the opposition, they could essentially keep the bickering down and ultimately assure their own re-election.
We need to stop acting like democrats. If the choice people have are a democrat who acts like a democrat or a phony republican who acts like a democrat, they will vote democrat; hello 2006. It may be a worn out statement but it is so true, we lost elections because we lost our way. This is our chance and this is the time. I think with Cantor as the #2 will help. We have an ultra left president and House with a wide liberal edge in the Senate. Now more than ever we must show our true conservative values and principles. Our congressional leaders must not budge an inch when it comes to reckless spending. We must keep our guys from loading bills up with pork, we must be steadfast in our support for the wars, we must be ready to fight any tax increses this administation wants to impose, we have to be determined to protect our right to keep and carry firearms, and we must be ready to fight socialised health care with everything we got.
