Mitt was adamant about the need to organize and recruit in order to be successful in 2010. But he was advocating a broader example of coordination between a range of Internet resources.
Have you reached out to Mitt and others (e.g. RNC, Club for Growth) to coordinate activities? I’m all for this data collection concept, but I think we can do more. I talked with Pat Toomey last week on this subject (got his business card right here) and he is willing to find ways to work together (in addition to wanting more people to join CFG).

I'd contribute to CFG. Not RNC

I will give money to CFG is my wife will let me.

birdmojo (Diary) Monday, November 17th at 2:09PM EST (link)The attitude that I have seen in more than one place of “are you still talking about that? Jeez!” with regards to the lost election.
Given that the democrats WILL overreach and that they will try to do stuff like AWB II (at a minimum), the Republicans will find themselves in Congress again.
However, if the Republicans can’t really be differentiated from the Democrats on economic issues and if Iraq becomes no longer an issue (as seemed to be the case a couple of weeks ago), if the Republicans run on primarily Social issues and “we won in Iraq!”, we will once again be finding ourselves being asked “are you still talking about that? Jeez!” when we want to talk about why the democrats took the House/Senate back from the Republicans again.

Don't rely on inevitability
Finrod (Diary) Monday, November 17th at 4:34PM EST (link)I wouldn’t count on that. The only reason we got Congress in the first place in 1994 was that we differentiated ourselves from Democrats and put forth a positive plan of what we’d do if elected. We won’t just get handed Congress like the Dems did in 2006; the MSM will see to that.
Let’s get down to brass tacks here. How much for the ape?
The bums will, eventually, be thrown out.
birdmojo (Diary) Monday, November 17th at 5:56PM EST (link)The bums will always, eventually, be thrown out.
If you’re down with the above, all you have to do is wait and you will find yourself in power. And, if all you do is wait, you’ll find yourself out of it.
I think that it is possible to push off “eventually” for a good long while, however.
You just have to be smart. Heck, you don’t even have to be smart. Just smartER than the other guys. Kerry in 2004? Dumb.
Obama in 2008? Smart.
How smart is the Republican Party prepared to be? If the gameplan is to wait until Democrats experience regression to the mean, well… that’s kinda dumb.
But, you have to admit, it’s less work than figuring out what went wrong and why.
