I believe most everyone on this blog can agree both the GOP Establishment and the Left want Romney to be the Republican nominee for 2012. We, the “radicalized”, patriotic Conservatives, naturally want the opposite. Then tell me why do we spend so much energy tearing down each Conservative candidate one by one – first Newt, then Bachmann, now Cain – seems the only one most of us could live with is Perry (and holding our noses at that!)

My point: We are exacerbating the damage our Conservative firebrands are inflicting upon each other, by tearing down the Conservative flavor of the month…that’s the Left’s job, not ours!

I made the same Reagan pledge as Mike Gallagher (WOR radio): do not speak or think evil of any Conservative candidate (ok, I’m cutting out Paul and Huntsman from my pledge, Gallagher doesn’t).

I have financially supported both Bachmnann and Perry; have not yet supported Cain’s campaign, but since he seems to be the latest “flavor of the month” to come under OUR attack, here are my two cents:

Cain, like Bachmann and Perry, is way too opinionated for his own good, but that’s what we like about them vs. Romney. Cain also probably thinks his own path to victory necessitates attacking Perry (like Bachmann did), which I believe will backfire on him if he keeps it up. When push comes to shove, I’ve no doubts Cain will endorse Perry (even if “not 100%” like he said; it’ll be 99.99% against Obama!)

Like Perry and Bachmann before, Cain is already being subjected to withering attacks from the Left media (e.g., why he didn’t march with Dr. King?). If we join the attack on Cain (or Perry or Bachmann for that matter), WE are helping Romney win!

I don’t believe Cain is aiming for VP under Romney; he’s denied that both in the Hewitt interview and in his book.

Give Cain one month to clean up his act & think before the words escape his mouth, or sink on his own. Let’s not tear down ANY Conservative in this blog.

And let’s not forget ABO is really the end-goal if we are to save this country: I could live with ANY GOP combination, or even Shrillary if she were to successfully challenge the Obumbler…

To Cain’s campaign handlers: Cain can gain a LOT more from being the happy, optimistic picture of rags-to-riches, hard-work-and-brains-pay American dream messenger than from his half-baked attacks on Perry. Get off the negative campaigning, or you’ll see how fast your candidate plummets back to earth and crashes. Remember Reagan? Americans need to again Believe in Something, Stand For Something, not be at each other’s throats – get it?

Obama on re-election mode; outwardly conciliatory, internally unmoved by the political and social realities. Saying some right things (getting rid of the one small “flaw” in Obamacare (read the 1099 forms fiasco); lowering the corporate tax rate to increase competitiveness, but only if “Republicans” (?!) agree to close loopholes). Saying some party-line things (e.g., hiring 100,000 new teachers to get America back on the lead in education internationally; “investing” our tax dollars in high-speed rail all over the US…). Big missed opportunity IMO: seizing a “Bill Cosby moment” (instead of his “Sputnik moment” quote – incidentally, not sure that quote sat well with any thinking person with the slightest knowledge of the fact that the Obama administration has and will continue to gut the US manned space program).

Why is it that presidents almost invariably tend to miss the low hanging fruit? Mr. Obama could still, after two years of utter failure on many fronts, wow Independents back (including lots of disenchanted blacks) if he were to frankly address one of the root causes of poverty, disenfranchisement and frustration in our country and in the black community in particular: the systematic destruction of the traditional family structure, moral fiber and work ethic in our society. But this would require courage, as it would put him in further conflict with many in his base that view secularism and moral relativism as the only acceptable gods.

Republicans and Conservatives should not shy away from making this important link, as upholding the family structure IS directly linked with economic prosperity, as profusely documented by both research and observation of different cultures throughout history. And you don’t have to come across as a religious fanatic to uphold the common sense in this.

On latest debate with Coons, defending local schools’ right to teach intelligent design as a theory alongside with evolution, when she asked “where in the Constitution is the separation of church and state” (and got scorned and ridiculed for it). Coons’ answer revealed he cannot distinguish between “separation of church and state”, and the prohibition of the establishment of a state religion by the government suggested in the First Amendment. The First Amendment’s purpose was to protect the free practice of religion by individuals fleeing from a persecuting government (that of England at the time), not to abolish it.

Coons’ interpretation would restrict local schools’ (and their principals, teachers, parents and students’) rights and freedoms, not promote them. This would not be in keeping with the intent of Thomas Jefferson, reputed here to be the intellectual author of the Establishment Clause:

http://www.usconstitution.net/jeffwall.html

Also, the state-run media and the Left are always eager to interpret this “separation” as only one-way – religion not in government, but not as government not interfering with religion. Here’s a good exposition of the latter danger:

http://www.allabouthistory.org/separation-of-church-and-state.htm

People of Delaware beware – you’ll lose much more than your tax dollars if Coons gets elected to be Harry’s and Obama’s rubber-stamp in November (despite his empty promises he won’t be) and joins the increasing number of elites from both parties that will first nudge, then mandate and ultimately dictate how you ought to live…after all, they are smarter and wiser than us and will save us from ourselves…

When Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Mark Levin join with Erick Erickson in denouncing Mike Castle’s very liberal voting record (he’s proud to have voted in favor of the Obama agenda 99% of the time), they cannot all be wrong. Christine O’Donnell isn’t perfect (none of us are), but at least we know what she stands for and against, that she’s not beholden to special interest groups and, as the Scott Brown election demonstrated, it’s critical at times that we have one more senator voting with the people, to slow down the Obama human wrecking ball. O’Donnell will vote to repeal Obamacare and will stand against cap and trade and further “stimuli” and bailouts; Castle won’t.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gB-upHOExs8

And fear not, O’Donnell will win against the Democrat candidate if enough of us support her, no matter what the NRSC or RNC do or fail to do. And if she does not do a good enough job as senator, next time we get someone that both represents the people and feel is more qualified – but we don’t fall back on the incumbent congressional RINO just out of fear.

Castle has $2 million more in funds to burn than O’Donnell, and the GOP establishment is doing its best to “kill off” the O’Donnell campaign, as ABC News Washington Senior Editor Rick Klein cheered on in his recent Tweeter post here: http://www.americanconservativedaily.com/2010/09/outrage-top-abc-newsman-cheers-on-liberals-to-kill-off-conservatives-candidacy/

If you care about reversing or at least slowing down the Obama agenda, please support the TPE’s expanded moneybomb for O’Donnell. Despite Gov Christie’s recent endorsement of Castle (clearly not his finest decision in my view), the momentum is still with O’Donnell. If we stand with her she’ll win. Sarah Palin thinks she can.

Sharron Angle, Christine O’Donnell, Daria Novak and Star Parker. Each at first (and perhaps still) shunned by the pro-incumbent Establishment. Each deserves our continued strong support to build the critical mass of citizen-legislators that will stop the Obama agenda and get us back in the right course as the God-blessed leader nation we’re called to be.

Sharron: We all know about her unexpected winning of the Nevada Republican primary on June 8th. Harry Reid immediately unleashed a character assassination campaign with his $11 million in the bank, and $14 million more to come, including “slick Bill” to the rescue. Sharron’s campaign is growing more professional and is in early stages of coordinating with the RNC and the NRSC against a vast Democratic machine. I believe, as Palin, DeMint and many others do, Sharron has what it takes to beat Harry in November and deal a mortal blow to the Obama agenda.

http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2010/jun/28/sharron-angles-style-not-national-gops-style/

http://www.sharronangle.com/

Christine: Recently endorsed by RS, she must first beat 40-yr House incumbent RINO Mike Castle in the 9/14 Delaware Republican primary, for the priviledge to contest Democrats for the Senate seat left vacant by Joe Biden. In a recent interview with Mark Levin, denouncing the recent Castle-Van Hollen Grassroots Gag Order Bill, the so-called “Disclose” Act, Christine said she just needs to raise $300,000 to defeat Castle. With Beau Biden (Joe’s son) apparently out of the race, and Senator Kaufmann not running for reelection, Christine has a very realistic chance to win the Senate seat. Christine has also earned the endorsement of One Nation PAC. We should also urge Senator DeMint’s SCF to endorse her, as many have already. You can read more at

http://christine2010.com/

Star is running for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 37th Congressional District in LA County, California. She is the founder and president of CURE, the Center for Urban Renewal & Education, a 501(c)3 non-profit think tank that explores and promotes market-based public policy to fight poverty. I’ve gotten to know Star a couple of years ago through her founding of CURE. She’s the bright, eloquent and life-tested anti-Obama antidote our inner-city youth need to hear so much more from, to break free from the vicious cycle of economic and psychological government dependency (as she once did herself as a former welfare mom). Star will do a lot more good as a member of Congress. Sarah Palin has recently endorsed her. Check out her bio at http://www.starparkerforcongress.com/bio.asp

Daria: I came across this patriotic Tea Party Conservative woman running for Connecticutt’s 2nd district, during the heated pre-Obamacare months and days. She’s a true Reaganite advocate for peace through strength, individual liberties and free market solutions, and as the official Republican nominee, will beat liberal activist and current rep. Joe Courtney in November with our support. http://novakforcongress.com/

Can’t get more grass-roots than this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4ld2epWGqQ&feature=fvw

Let’s get them all elected and further explode a number of tired liberal stereotypes in the process!!

http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2010/jun/28/sharron-angles-style-not-national-gops-style/

http://www.sharronangle.com/

Promote Prevention and Wellness.

On November 4th, Glenn Beck allowed me to “borrow” his audience and to give them a frontline assessment [2] of the health care legislation pending in Congress.

In my discussion with Judge Napolitano on the Glenn Beck Show, I hammered on the facts that (1) the Rationing and Enforcement Boards were already created and passed into law through the Stimulus Bill, and (2) the President had already appointed the members, funding them to the tune of $20.6 BILLION. When I pointed out that these boards were charged with directing healthcare “at the time and place of care,” Judge Napolitano expressed outrage at the prospect of these government entities insinuating themselves into the previously private and confidential doctor/patient relationship. The biggest outrage is the fact that no one seems to know that THIS IS ALREADY LAW! These rationing boards threaten your privacy, your control, your health, your treatment possibilities, and your future.

Enter Congressman Thad McCotter. He acted upon the information in my interview and added two very important Sections to The Alternative Bill :

DIVISION D—PROTECTING THE DOCTOR-PATIENT RELATIONSHIP

SEC. 401. RULE OF CONSTRUCTION. Nothing in this Act shall be construed to interfere with the doctor-patient relationship or the practice of medicine.

SEC. 402. REPEAL OF FEDERAL COORDINATING COUNCIL FOR COMPARATIVE EFFECTIVENESS RESEARCH. Effective on the date of the enactment of this Act, section 804 of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 is repealed.

With the addition of these two Sections, the subterranean health care coup within The Stimulus Bill, would have become NULL and VOID. However, by Pelosi’s and Obama’s block of the alternative bill the rationing boards survived.

Enter Congressman McCotter again. On January 22, 2010 he introduced a Bill, The Freedom From Rationed Health Care Act, that would make the health care portion of The Stimulus Bill extinct.

I thank those in Congress who were willing to listen to ‘the grunts on the front line of our health care system and to create the alternative Bill. I thank Congressman McCotter for (1) having the “guts” to call out the President, the Speaker, Senator Reid for their subterfuge in enacting the rationing and enforcement boards, and (2) for proposing a remedy for the unpalatable Democratic draught….not once but twice.

Health Care is too important to enact by default. It deserves debate and dialogue. It is too important to relegate to back room deals, special interests, and bureaucrats with NO functional medical knowledge. We need a simplified health care system that can deal with reality, not smoke and mirrors. We do not need to add expensive bureaucratic gridlock that limits your access to treatments and care and decimates our health care delivery system. We need to diagnose the ailments in our system, and identify solutions that do not create worse side effects and complications. The” dog that wasn’t allowed to bark” addresses these issues. Congressman McCotter’s new Bill should put the “rabid dog” being pushed by Obama, Pelosi and Reid in a cage for good.

Is New Jersey’s State Constitution Unconstitutional? Campaign to Recall Senator Menendez Turns Into Battle of the Constitutions
(1/17/10) — “New Jersey’s State Constitution is unconstitutional. That’s apparently what one New Jersey election official seems to think. A committee seeking approval from the state to petition registered voters on whether to move forward with a special election to recall US Senator Robert Menendez was denied that request, in a letter on January 11th which stated that the US Constitution does not provide for such a proceeding.” Click here for the full story from Big Government.

A committee seeking approval from the state to petition registered voters on whether to move forward with a special election to recall US Senator Robert Menendez was denied that request, in a letter on January 11th which stated that the US Constitution does not provide for such a proceeding.” Click here for the full story from Big Government.
