ObamaCare will Kill Millions of Babies

According to the strongest pro-life lobby, Right to Life: “a vote for the Senate-passed health bill (H.R. 3590) is a vote for the most expansively pro-abortion legislation ever to come before the House of Representatives” — since Roe v. Wade.

However, Right to Life is allowing Representatives to make their Yes or No decision about the bill on grounds other than the mass killing of the innocents. Many Members who claim they are pro-life, have announced they will vote for this bill.

Every Member of Congress should be told that if they vote for this bill will be ineligible for any endorsement from Right to Life. These Representatives will simply have too much blood on their hands.

It is time to dial up the pressure equal to that of the Speaker’s office and the White House. Since the Speaker has announced “no deal” and that she will not make a deal, why wait?

Right to Life has the ability to change Yes to No votes today, if they make this announcement. Will they?

I’m in fasting and prayer today. I will not be listening to the tv or radio today. I will worship enthusiastically this morning at my church. And I will read your posts.

Thank you again for all you’ve done and are doing.

God bless you, and God bless America!

This is the latest: Stupak in negotiations over an

Executive Order.

Dems are dealing because they do not have the votes and may not even if they get the executive order deal.

Right to Life should oppose the executive order deal NOW.

What happened to three separate branches of government?

GregInFla (Diary) Sunday, March 21st at 12:26PM EST (link)

It seems we have two now, and really maybe 1.5 branches. I doubt Pres. Washington ever caucused with groups of Congressmen. The Executive branch was not to have any power or influence over the Legislative.

So Dan are you saying they "might" have the votes?...

JadedByPolitics (Diary) Sunday, March 21st at 10:30AM EST (link)

Very rarely do your diaries ask US to push because they didn’t have the votes, what is going on?

I Think They Think They Have The Votes

IJB Sunday, March 21st at 10:55AM EST (link)

But, the thing is, I think they might end up being surprised, and find out the hard way that they don’t have the votes.

Stay tuned…

Paul Ryan exposed their dirty little secret. Keep calling all you can.

rcov092 (Diary) Sunday, March 21st at 11:15AM EST (link)

They cannot pass it with only 216…withut 217 guaranteed, all the rest become “the vote that passed health care”. Confimred on Drudge. Pelosi overheard telling Hoyer they have to have 217. Keep calling all you can.

“Not One Red Dime for the NRSC or NRCC till they stop trying to elect liberals”

The quotes I see say "we WILL have the votes" not that they present tense "HAVE" the votes

My rules of the road for primary season.
Rule #1: Vote for YOUR first choice in the primaries
Rule #2: Vote for the R in the general.
Rule #3: Don’t let anyone convince you to violate Rule #1 or Rule #2
Rule #4: When in a center-right argument, reaffirm Rules #1-#3–it will help us all to get along better.
Rule #5: If you are using the language of the left, you probably aren’t furthering conservativism
Rule #6: The priority is issues first, candidates second, and supporters third. Nobody is bigger than the issues. Conversely, if you spend your time focusing on supporters, you are wasting everyone’s time.

STOP THE MADNESS!

A reduction in the rate of spending increases is NOT a cut!
In-state tuition for illegals is NOT amnesty!
Requiring someone to pay their medical bills is NOT an individual mandate!
Reducing tax rates is NOT a tax increase!

They expect final vote at 9:00 p.m. EDT

Stupak?

Woo_girl Sunday, March 21st at 10:33AM EST (link)

Is he getting ready to fold with his promised language in an executive order that can be taken away with another executive order?

YES -- they are now negotiating

Dan Perrin (Diary) Sunday, March 21st at 11:46AM EST (link)

We must not let Right to Life let him off the hook.

It must be in law, not an Executive Order. It’s a JOKE.

Agree Dan

I am sure the GOP and the RTL is working on it as we speak

Still no announcement of an agreement

JSobieski (Diary) Sunday, March 21st at 12:31PM EST (link)

Hopefully there will be no agreement as to any language. Clearly Obama is not going to issue an EO comprising of the Stupak language—if he was, the negotiations would be offer and there would be a press conference.

If this is true about Right to Life....

representatives not losing their endorsement if they vote Yes, I pledge to never send a single dollar to Right to Life or their PAC ever again. I have a call into their DC office. I would advise others who have donated their time and money supporting this organization, to do the same. Here is the number:

(202) 626-8800

I also hope we get a list of Right to Life Reps who voted Yes.

How about something stronger

Sundayjack (Diary) Sunday, March 21st at 11:12AM EST (link)

How about the USCCB reminding all Catholics that if they support this bill they are no longer allowed to accept Holy Communion. Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi – find somewhere else to spend Easter Sunday.

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies.”

Right to Life lost the battle the first time

GregInFla (Diary) Sunday, March 21st at 12:28PM EST (link)

In the house, when they supported the Stupak Amendment to the House Bill. If the Repubs had voted against it by simply voting Present, we might not be in this position. If Right To Life again supports Stupak’s cave, then I have to doubt their true intentions.

If Republicans had voted against the amendment, what makes you think the bill still wouldn't have passed the House the first time?

JSobieski (Diary) Sunday, March 21st at 12:33PM EST (link)

Adding the Stupak language to the House bill in November was a necessary tactical move–it made everything up to this point possible.

Regardless, that is not the paramount issue right now. Plenty of time to discuss that strategy later. In the meantime, we have a lot of work and praying to do.
