The natural reaction by most Americans to the unofficial and preliminary claim that the $2.5 Trillion ObamaCare bill is revenue-neutral is, well, B.S. (There is a card game with the same name.)
The second natural reaction is the realization that ObamaCare must cut the guts out of Medicare and raise taxes through the roof.
All of the above are reasonable and accurate reactions to the latest Speaker Pelosi counter-attack from Wonderland.

Sure it is...especially considering this footnote:

a. Does not include federal administrative costs that would be subject to appropriation.
So no administrative cost are calculated at all in these numbers. I guess all that new bureaucracy will just work for free?

Nor the cost of those doctors refusing additional
Ward_Off_Monkey Thursday, March 18th at 9:38PM EST (link)Medicare/Medicaid patients or even dropping Medicare/Medicaid patients all together. Combine that with the estimated 20 to 30% of doctors that have indicated they will either switch professions or retire rather than have to deal with all the additional government bureaucracy health care reform will create and the resutling shortage of doctors will create unimaginable costs in human lives. It’s not the insurance companies killing people now as the statists argue, but if this passes it will definitely be the government killing people just as is happening in the UK, Canada and other countries with wonderful socialized medicine.

It's interesting how the Left splits on Obamacare.

It's time to step up!
teridavisnewman (Diary) Friday, March 19th at 10:51AM EST (link)I’m running against Obamacare too, but it’s not the only issue. The economic policies of the USA have been a disaster since Lyndon Johnson started the war on poverty in the 60s. We’ve spent money like drunken sailors on every stupid social program to try to make the USA a place where everyone was happy and taken care of by the government. We gave our poor handouts instead of a hand up and we promoted welfare instead of workfare and vocational training. We taught our children sex education instead of God and morality and we allowed the murder of unborn babies for convenience sake. We’ve taught dependence on the government instead of responsible self-reliance and community involvement. We’ve ignored the transgressions of our public officials and allowed them to write laws that don’t apply equally to them and to us and they aren’t subject to the disaster of Obamacare either, God forbid it should be passed! We need fiscal conservatives all over the country or we aren’t going to have a country soon.

bet your congressman
rfpzzzzz Friday, March 19th at 11:16AM EST (link)I would bet my congressman my house that debt will explode from this healthcare bill (given honest accounting). It would be funny to offer a wager to all “yes” voters for the bill including Obama, Pelosi , Reid.
