while I agree with the premise of your article, i do have issue with your use of “God” vs “god”. Generally “God” is reserved for the big five monotheist religions of the world and “god” is used when describing the pagan pantheon of “gods, or god” as required.

even if you are describing what you believe is the left’s pantheon of deity or deities, one should still reserve and respect the use of “God” for the biggies and not demean the usage of the the word.

The Mayo clinic in AZ is going to a cash model for those on Medicaid as they can only recoup 50% of the health care cost at that clinic. Part of the Mayo group which Obama praised in 09 for being a model of national health care. Whoops!

They believe that the American public’s attention span is too short such that by November they will have something else on their mind – especially with the help of the media (who will virtually embargo any health care story) and a new crisis that will soak up the new cycle. I suspect foreign affairs +/- buggering the economic numbers to give the appearance of a strong recovery (“revisions” will come after November 2).

But for an administration that constantly generates one crisis after another, whey not do so for the elections – one that will short circuit political debate even as the October credit crisis totally dominated the last election season and swamped foreign policy, etc.

And considering how the “issues” that were dominant a year ago have been supplanted, they think that health care will suffer from overexposure and the public will be tired of discussions on it by November.

And for the true believers, even if they lose some seats in the mid-term elections, with Obama as president for two more years, they assume that the Republican Congressional leadership will play the same losing games they have since 2006 and that as a consequnce the mercurial public will swing back to the Democrats in 2012. In any case, they will have their Federalized health care system and a stranglehold over the economy that will make it impossible to reverse the increasing centralization of power.

And they still plan to take over the judiciary with their continued control of the Senate.

I guess I have less confidence when the time comes to vote, that the American people will vote out their Congress critters over health care – especially when their attention will be focused on something else.

I just do not believe the Ds will come back after this. Even if the masses are focused on other crises a year from now, I do not believe Obama will cease mucking up the country. Not only that, but nobody believes his lies any more.
