Who Jokerized Senator Nelson — Michelle Malkin: “Nebraskans have Jokerized Ben Nelson. (Or rather, he Jokerized himself, didn’t he?)”
Here is another version of Nelson as the Joker done by RedState’s bkeyser (note the Planned Parenthood backdrop.)
The art work of the first famous Joker, of the Trillion Dollar President, was done by a Kucinich for President supporter.
Was this done by a Progressive who has had just about as much as they can take of ObamaCare?
There is thunder on the left about ObamaCare. This post is particularly interesting, titled ObamaCare “is just another bailout of the financial system” (from NakedCapitalism) or this one from the SmirkingChimp (a real crowd pleaser) “Paul Krugman’s Health Care Sell-Out: The Health “Reform” Bill in Congress Is Worse than Nothing.”
Then again, this doctor from Friend, Nebraska is really, really angry — did she do it?

bkey- thanks! It's a masterpiece!
louisiana (Diary) Thursday, December 31st at 1:42PM EST (link)The brooch is an especially nice touch. I’m going to take this picture to my next GOP meeting. Could be that I’ll make a few copies & accidentally drop a few around here & there:)
Thanks for the link bkeyser,
Dan Perrin (Diary) Thursday, December 31st at 10:43AM EST (link)I added it to the post.
Certainly.
bkeyser Thursday, December 31st at 10:56AM EST (link)There’s more- feel free.
I thought "jokerizing" someone...
swami7774 (Diary) Thursday, December 31st at 10:05AM EST (link)….was racist.
Today, there is a name for the political doctrine that rejoices in scarcity of everything except government. The name is environmentalism.
It's gone transracial
Dan Perrin (Diary) Thursday, December 31st at 10:38AM EST (link)So, what are your thoughts, Dan?
cari Thursday, December 31st at 11:11AM EST (link)Do you think there’s any hope of this bill NOT becoming law?
Yes, absolutely.
Dan Perrin (Diary) Thursday, December 31st at 12:27PM EST (link)They have to amend it in the house, pass it in the house, then have to bring it back up on the Senate floor.
We get a complete re-do-over and they are getting hammered politically.
If it returns to the Senate
E Pluribus Unum (Diary) Thursday, December 31st at 1:07PM EST (link)does it have to pass iny cloture votes?
I have said from the beginning that if this thing is stopped, it will be in the House, not in the Senate – contrary to the surface logic regarding the 60-vote hurdle they have to pass.
Every single SOB in the House faces re-election.

Yes all of them
Dan Perrin (Diary) Thursday, December 31st at 6:07PM EST (link)the motion to proceed
cloture on any amendment
cloture on the bill itself
It is exactly the way it was before.
Dan- I am hearing
Scope (Diary) Thursday, December 31st at 1:18PM EST (link)that the Dem. hold outs for the public option are willing to vote for the thing without the public option, just to get it passed. I also read somewhere that Obama is pushing that the bill not go to conference, and that the Senate bill be accepted as is by the house. Is that Pelosi’s call? If that happens, does it just go to Obamas desk as is? or are there still more hurdles somewhere?
I think that the Dems want to pass the Senate
Dan Perrin (Diary) Thursday, December 31st at 6:18PM EST (link)version. If they could, they would have before Christmas. And they would announce that they were going to pass the Senate bill. Instead they said they want to work on jobs and pass health care in Feb.
The message is simple, they do not have the votes for the Senate bill.
The tax on the unions, the abortion issue, the public option, the immigration provision and other points of contention will prevent them from passing the Senate bill in the House, without amending it first.
Once they amend it, they then must pass it and then it goes back to the Senate and just like any other bill — and they have to go through everything they did the first time.
Good to hear.
cari Thursday, December 31st at 1:28PM EST (link)If this bill goes down BEFORE it passes, it will do so with both chambers having taken potentially career-ending votes.
If this bill goes down in flames AFTER it passes, due to court and state challenges, then it will be a bigger embarrassment to the Precedent and his agenda than having failed at getting a bill passed in the first place.
If the bill passes and begins to be enacted, it will continue to drag the Dems down politically, because the taxes proceed the benefits, neither left, right or center like this bill, and it will have been enacted in direct opposition to the will and voice of the people.
I really don’t see how we lose here…
I hope you are correct, but
olsmithie (Diary) Thursday, December 31st at 1:59PM EST (link)the Supreme Court surprised us on Campaign Reform, (Thank you John McCain!),so I am not so confident that the courts will save us if this mess passes.
And that was before the “wise Latino”, (her words) joined the court.

There is a sure way to kill the health care bill
gemimail Friday, January 1st at 3:30AM EST (link)Elect Scott Brown as the next U. S. Senator from Massachusetts on January 19th. Then the Democrats will not have 60 votes for cloture and only 59. Because it is a special election in freezing cold January in Massachusetts we can pull this off if the RNC will just put in some serious money. Still we can all go to www.brownforussenate.com and contribute time and/or money.
You know, this really isn't at all fair to The Joker.
The_Gadfly (Diary) Thursday, December 31st at 12:04PM EST (link)I mean, in the movie I don’t think he killed nearly as many people as this new healthcare reform thingie is going to. And at least he put some thought into how he was going to do it as opposed to it being a byproduct of incompetence.
LOL

Great line though.
True, Joker was very warped but very thoughtful about his actions.
olsmithie (Diary) Thursday, December 31st at 2:01PM EST (link)The folks in congress are just warped.

Montana, recall him
renny (Diary) Thursday, December 31st at 1:49PM EST (link)If Nelson really thought Obamanationcare was the wonderful legislation he’s going to defend on tv today? then he should’ve been supporting it from the start and not stolen from my state to support Montana’s Medicaid bills.
Recall’em: Use the article of impeachment against Nixon of “lying to the American people” against Nelson.
The NJ tea parties have submitted a petition to recall Menendez for malfeasance for among other actions 1) voting against funding for a NJ program to move those monies to the UN, 3) voting against NJ veterans support funding, and 3) voting against an audit of Sen. voting records on all allocation bills (so there would be no one official record). Incoming Governor Christie has criticized Menendez for his ignoring NJ needs where for every $7 in taxes sent to DC only $1 is ever returned here. Consider Puerto Rico—not a state—the statistic is reversed there.
Two problems here.
ceili_dancer (Diary) Thursday, December 31st at 2:14PM EST (link)Nelson is from Nebraska and YOU CAN’T RECALL FEDERAL OFFICE HOLDERS!!! It’s been repeated numerous times and it makes people sound ignorant if they keep stating it. The best we can do is work with the mantra of elections have consequences and work on getting the right people in to the right office.
Why didn't they do a parody of Nelson as Xavier Hollander?
