I went down to Casa Grande, AZ about a month ago and spoke to 
a 9.12 group there, outlining for them the need for them to get 
involved in the real ball game of politics -- party politics as precinct 
committeemen in the Republican Party.  I spoke for less than ten minutes and then answered questions.

Here are two of the responses I got updating me on what they&#039;ve

Cold Warrior you can be proud of what you have done for the 912 Group in Casa Grande. Sassia and I were joined with many new PC&#039;s or soon to be PC&#039;s at the monthly meeting yesterday in Saddlebrooke. Our group was not only the biggest new PC recruits but the life of the room. I think we put a pulse back into the Republican Party in Pinal County. Many have also become members of ResistNet.com and we appreciate all you do.

To put it in perspective, Pinal Couty has 23 new GOP PC&#039;s being processed. Virtually ALL of them are members of or were recuited through our Pinal 9-12 group. We have had people come down from the Phoenix area to listen to the candidates Sassia has brought in. Many of them left with everything they needed to become PC&#039;s in Maricopa County. Since we don&#039;t have a 9-12 meeting in Phoenix Metro, we point our visitors to the Tea Party group meetings in their area.

At yesterday&#039;s 11/21 Pinal County GOP PC meeting, About 50 of the 200 PC&#039;s showed up. Our group accounted for virtually all of the new PC&#039;s, 20% of the attendees and was the center of the energy in the room. Darla had a chance to speak and got things going. County leadership was excited about having new, conservative and energetic people in to help. Get together, work together and get it going. Nothing beats face-to-face meetings for developing effective organziations!

We have a great 9-12 group and good leadership working together so we can take effective action. This will work if we work at it!

		<description>If what I read is accurate, then Senator Lieberman&#039;s vote is consistent with what he&#039;s been saying he&#039;d do. Didn&#039;t he always say he was going to vote yes on beginning debate - but that he would support a Republican filibuster if the bill remained unacceptable? 

But I haven&#039;t seen a comprehensive list of his reasons for opposing Obamacare.  If anyone has time: Would taking out the public option be enough for him to support it ? ( as in vote yes on the second cloture vote)  Awhile back he was sounding like he thought Obamacare was alltogether too extensive and expensive to be taken on at this time.  Has he drastically changed since then?

I&#039;m fairly hopeful about Lieberman. He supported the war, he endorsed McCain, he&#039;s shown he can break from his party. Besides that he&#039;s already invested himself and stuck his neck out by saying he&#039;d filibuster - that seems to have solidified left wing disfavor.

As to Nelson, looking at the video Dan linked to last week he struck me as a guy who wasn&#039;t buiying it. Like a customer at a used car dealership who&#039;d looked under the hood, knew a thing or two about engines and knew a lemon when he saw one.  He didn&#039;t sound like he was interested in passing any form of Obamacare (or allowing it to be passed) 

I was particularly struck that when presented with the idea that the worst possible scenario is passing nothing, Nelson flatly responded that we need to make sure it&#039;s not a bad bill. No lip service to the notion &quot; of course we all want to bring about reform we just need to make sure it&#039;s the right reform&quot;

He didn&#039;t seem like somebody who would likely give in for a few cosmetic changes. What is his criteria?</description>

If this passes, it is not just the normal run of the mill irresponsible government. We are all going to suffer when the dollar collapses and the government denies us the tests we need. 

&#039;Governments...derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government&#039;

If they jam  this thing through against the clear will of the people, I for one am not going to sit by and take it. It is blatantly unconstitutional, a clear abuse of power and an act of contempt against the American people. If passed, I believe appropriate civil disobedience would be appropriate and in line with the founding ideas of this country. Whether it be 100k people invading the captiol building and refusing to leave, or 2 million peple refusing to pay their taxes, something must be done. And if all that fails, and we can&#039;t get a Repulican president to overturn this, I think we need to seriously consider secession.  Am I sounding like a crazy person? Am  I off-base to say that?</description>
