Don’t bother contacting congress unless you can negotiate pork giveaways. That’s all they respond to.

IT’S THE MEDIA. Contact the media and let them know you’re watching whether they report the lack of transparency- the vapor bills, and no 72-hour online posting.

The media doesn’t hear from us because we’re too busy wasting our time with congress. Make your call count.

That’s an easy one, The same people who write some of the most odious ones, The people who admit writting the “Hate Crimes Bill” They add all of the written references to obscure sections of the criminal law! You have to research the actual wording of each law, down to the page and line, to figure out what each passage does! And even then unless you research the case law resulting from that particular line or passage, you still don’t know what has been don to US!!!! Ocassionaly Schumer admits where they come from but the media usually deletes it from his speeches!

Right we need several new partys. AND no electoral college, elect by popular vote! All records open to the public (not just media) Do you think the public would love to see some of the voters registrations submitted by ACORN ??? Even before this bill is passed, sites are leaving the internet. People who are not “news” media are being forced to disclose their subscriber list. There goes the first amendment. Call your senator today about that too!!

I’m starting to worry that the Obama Copenhagen trip, the SNL skit, et. al. was a concerted ploy to get Conservatives to relax and lighten up immediately prior to the critical Hellth Care vote.

This country was founded on the principle of enumerated powers, not a blank check for the President and the Congress to make it up as they go. I’ll be calling today as suggested above.

I hope I’m wrong but this site doesn’t seem have the focus and intensity I would expect on 4th and Goal.

So there is no way a politician or pundit can make any statement of fact in support of “health care” reform (do not even like the term which is mixing components of different issues like health care provision and insurance premiums, ect) , because, in fact, there is no actual bill written.
Do the cap and trade and tarp bills actually exist, or are they “vapor bills” also? As no politician read them before voting on them, who fills in the regulatory language in these laws?
