Don’t you know that you’re only suppose to look at one variable!!! When the largest budget ever written passed, you were only suppose to look at the money being spent, not at the deficits they would cause. When they say Medicare is going to get better with HR3200, you aren’t suppose to look at the $500 billion in cuts to that program. When they say the townhalls are representative, you aren’t suppose to look at the polls. Unless of course….. YOU’RE A RACIST!!!! (or a terrorist.. you’re call)

As Reason points out Dionne thought these “highly publicized screamers” were so large and menacing that they posed a threat to existence of U.S. democracy!!! I guess one can only sigh at the sheer hypocrisy.

Those doing the disproving, those non-believers, are in error, and cannot be allowed to dominate.

Hence the present left-wing tendency to “do whatever it takes” (Billy Jeff Clinton’s infamous words) including distort, lie, and suppress their opponents.

The last step is violent suppression: that’s where we bring in our armed pick-up trucks!

When Pelosi and the Dem leadership started with their rhetoric about “the mob” and “swastikas” and bogus “death threats,” the MSM dutifully did their job and characterized the Obamacare opponents as unruly mobs bent of violence and hate. I strongly suspect the intent was to ridicule and marginalize the opposition.

Now that plan has backfired, so it’s the media’s fault for the “media-created impression of the meetings is wrong.” Ultimately that is the job description of the useful idiot: carry the talking points, then take the blame when things go wrong.
