Chuck Schumer Drops the Mask

Schumer Says: The Era Of A Strong Foreign Policy And Traditional Values Is Over.

As noted by Jonah Goldberg, liberal Democrats like Chuck Schumer are now so convinced that 2006 and 2008 have permanently altered the American political landscape that they no longer feel the need to hide their disdain for the things majorities of the American people have supported for decades:

“The world has changed,” Sen. Charles E. Schumer of New York proclaimed on MSNBC. “The old Reagan philosophy that served them well politically from 1980 to about 2004 and 2006 is over. But the hard right, which still believes … [in] traditional values kind of arguments and strong foreign policy, all that is over.”

Well, certainly traditional values and a strong foreign policy are no longer welcome in Washington. But maybe, just maybe, the American people haven’t given up on them just yet.

that Obama and Chuck (and company) are driving the bus right off the road. It’s the only way that the American people will learn what the effects of the Democrat Party’s policies really are on our country.

Just keep talking Chuck!

Let us not forget, that we told the American people Schumer and liberals...

have no love for traditional American values and they plan at every turn to admonish us who believe in them. Clinging to their Bibles and Guns? Save this video for the elections of 2010 and replay it everywhere. I have been offline for a number of days because of the discord I have been seeing on Redstate that has really turned me off, but when dumb s$#*s like Schumer say garbage like this it brings be right back.

I want this JA

…to state unequivocally what it is HE stands for. He, like all Liberals, is adept at tearing down Conservatives is incapable of articulating clearly for the world to see, his own beliefs.

I have nothing but contempt for Schumer. He is one of the most arrogant, elitist, SOB’s we’re burdened with. We need to aggressively go after this man.

“In questions of power, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution.” – Thomas Jefferson

“I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents.” – James Madison

Whenever the legislators endeavor to take away and destroy the property of the people, or to reduce them to slavery under arbitrary power, they put themselves into a state of war with the people, who are thereupon absolved from any further obedience.” — John Locke, 1690

NCNA addresses Schumer's prognosis.

But that’s the problem. It’s a bait. NCNA just validates Schumer’s prognosis.

Why does McCain’s strategy always have to be a defensive one, a strategy of the losers?

Well, we'll just see about that Chucky...

in 2010. Liberals seem to have some sort of psychoses that makes them think that if they say that conservative values are “dead” that it automatically comes true. I’m sure in their greatest dreams this is true, but Fox’s ratings, talk radio, and tea parties are evidence that this is JUST NOT TRUE!
They count on us being the silent party. That way, they can convince their liberal lemmings that they don’t have a fight ahead of them. NOT TRUE!
They also seem to think that we conservatives are so weak minded, like their kind, that just because some half-wit, crooked politician says that our values are dead that we take it as gospel and will eventually just “give up” on our beliefs. Keep dreamin’ Chucky! And look out in 2010..

How long before Schumer calls for turning on the ovens

After all, he’s got to do something with all of us on the hard right who still believe in traditional values and strong foreign policy.

Then again, maybe one of his Al Qaeda buddies (who still believe in strong foreign policy) may succeed in paying him a visit first to cut off further discussion.

The greatest evil…is conceived and ordered (moved, seconded, carried, and minuted) in clean, carpeted, warmed, and well-lighted offices, by quiet men with white collars and cut fingernails and smooth-shaven cheeks who do not need to raise their voice. Hence, naturally enough, my symbol for Hell is something like the bureaucracy of a police state or the offices of a thoroughly nasty business concern. -C.S. Lewis

It’s all just a matter of when and how they get there.

As for Schumer, he’s one of the most evil men in current American politics, AFAIAC.

Do they even listen to what thay rea saying?

The days of traditional values and a strong foreign policy are over?

I guess if they really felt the need they could get in a semantics argument over “traditional” but to state that we no longer want a “strong” foreign policy is stupid plain and simple.

It just blows my mind that people vote for these idiots.

paragraph 4.

Chuck: You might not be intersted in war, but war is interested

in you. There are plenty of terrorists around the globe who believe in a ‘strong foreign policy’ and will attack when they perceive weakness.

Chuck, You really should get out more. War is a more common state throughout history than peace. It’s an unfortunate reality, inconvenient truth etc.
A vigorous national defense 24/7/365 is minimum – and it’s your job, Chuck, to ensure that the country is protected and the necessary resources are allocated for defense before all other priorities.

—-Prop 8 PASSED in California, in spite of a big margin of victory for Obama. Do the arithmetic, Chuck: a helluva lot of Obama voters oppose same-sex marriage. Voters in over 29 other states are on record as opposing it, as well.

—Cap and Trade is dying a slow death among your colleagues in the Senate. All Republicans, as well as some of your Democrat colleagues, are still afraid of raising taxes on average working people. High taxes may be OK with you and Barack, but raising them may not be as easy as you think.

—Card Check, despite a massive propoganda effort by your union goon friends, is dead. Even George McGovern is on record as opposing this legisation, taking away the secret ballot from working folks.

Obviously, the media isn’t going to cover this, but team Obama is slowly beginning to lose some important battles. Stay tuned.

Who died. . .

. . .and left Schmuck Schumer to be the arbiter of the pulse of the American people?

A few months ago he’s stating that we don’t care about “porky” amendments and now he’s telling us that the core beliefs of millions of us–members of both parties–are now in the trash bin of history.

He’s looking at Obama’s personal popularity and the failure of elected Republicans to take principled stands and thinking that our beliefs and values had changed. They haven’t, of course.

Politicians in both parties have failed to represent our values. That needs to change, starting this year in Virginia and New Jersey and then in 2010 nationally.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed with the tears of defeated politicians of BOTH parties and at ALL levels over the next few election cycles.

What arrogance! I’ve seen this all before when Carter was elected President in 1976. Lefties and pundits openly declared conservatism dead in America. 4 years later, after the American citizens were marinated in failed Left-wing policies, they went on to elect most iconic figure in American conservatism.

What tools like Schumer and Barney Frank are too arrogant to realize is that voters can and often change their minds. Not everyone who voted for Reagan in 1980 and 1984 were lifelong Republicans. And not everyone who voted for Obama were Left-wing lunatics. Most voters lean one way or the other but ultimately their circumstances will dictate their voting decisions.

Bear in mind that the public is still basking in the glow that is Obama. None of what Obama is doing right now is sinking in because no one is feeling the direct effects of his policies yet. And when the whole roof caves in (and you know it will) Obama will go from being The One to That One. And he won’t have Bush-Cheney (or Palin for that matter) to hang his mess on. He owns it all. Barack, Joe, Nancy, Chuck & Barney are all partying hearty before the imminent hangover…and what a hangover it will be.

Like my father always said, “Nothing will make you a more staunch conservative than living under a socialist regime.”

Secular Humanist Jihad

avgamerican (Diary) Tuesday, May 5th at 11:24PM EST (link)

This is what the dems have stood for along time. The destruction of the United States and its culture from within. I believe it was John Adams that said a representative democracy could only survive in a nation of Judean Christian Values. If we don’t believe that our laws come from God, then as one Christian professor said then whoever is in power decides the law. Welcome to the secular humanist jihad. The destruction of our Constitution and Bill of Rights. By the way you are an extremist if you believe in protecting the unborn and that homosexuality should not be forced on minor children.
