Laurence Kudlow would be a terrific senator.

Simmons would be better than Dodd I guess. I suspect he'd be better than Olympia Snowe but not as good as Susan Collins.

It just exists only in inland areas of the state.

There's no point in having one in the coastal regions - those morons are too far gone.

It seems the Democrats are better are this long term election planning. Kos is perpetual campaign mode. We Should be too.

But most importantly, this type of news will force Dems up in 2010 to act responsibly. We need a solid candidate to scare Blanche Lincoln to the Right too.

Reading this I could not help but wish that voters in California would wake up and turn on Boxer. In my opinion this lefty is the meanest and dumbest in the senate. But alas, in a state where Pelosi and Waters are consistently reelected (not to mention the Sanchez sisters) and were we have no GOP and where the average voter is probably the least informed in the entire nation, there is no hope. I hear people are leaving this state in droves. Why have all good conservatives bailed on this beautiful state? It's like the conservatives in congress, they give up and let the left take over, why is that?

Sorry, I realize this thread is about CT, good luck, hope the good guy wins.
