FOXNEWS’ Neil Cavuto suggests on show Obama’s “coal comments” could cost him OH, and PA

one has to wonder if its "too little, too late" and you know the other networks aren't gonna cover it....

Today on FOXNEWS’ “Your World with Neil Cavuto” he suggested that Obama’s recent coal comment regarding the possible bankrupting of the industry along with other electric companies.

He chose to single out Ohio and Pennsylvania as potential loses because of these comments and the heavily impact the industry has there.

Then he put up a screen showing that voters in Indiana, Virginia, and possibily West Virginia could be affected. I must say, I hope so, and I am for anything that gets the residents here to switch their votes for McCain.

*One has to wonder if this will do any good having the news break like this at the eleventh hour. *

There are 4 reasons I think places like PA and OH could go to McCain despite what any poll says:

  1. voters in PA-the potential loss of guns should Obama win. Murtha was right in this regard: PA has some huge rural spots and Democrats and Republicans have to be concerned with the potential loss of, or almost certain restriction of guns in the future under an Obama Administration.

  2. PA-Obama’s “voters cling to their religion and guns” comment in San Francisco

  3. RAIN tomorrow-its a known fact that Democrats stay home when it rains. Hopegulluy the youth do too since they are expected to vote for their messiah in record numbers

  4. this coal issue

You can see the video of Obama’s coal comments here as well as read exactly what all the fuss is about.

Could McCain have won if he’d used Schwarzenegger more?

Friday's rally in Columbus, OH resembled that of a typical Obama complete with the attendance, enthusiasm

CNN showed Friday’s Columbus, OH rally complete with CA Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger who talked about “leaving Europe four decades ago in order to get out from under socialism” and knowing what “spead the wealth” is all about and seeing that it doesn’t work.

More imporantly, that crowd was one of the biggest I’ve seen for any McCain rally and it immediately reminded me of the tens of thousands that flock to Czar Obama’s rallies at his beck-and-call. On top of that, it had the usual enthusiasm that we see from his (Obama’s) rallies.

See the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o81VuUcwnEk.

This leads me to believe that using Arnold more could have helped McCain possibly secure some of these swing states like OH, PA, as well as shore up the independents in these states.

McCain campaigns as a Maverick and either you like or dislike him because of this and this could have really helped him run off that label. Arnold is wildly populular in his “home” state of CA and it might just have swung a state or two to his side.

The Toledo Blade estimated the crowd athttp://toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20081101/NEWS09/811010395 at 10-12,000.

Consider it a lost opportunity, even though it was reported that it was a one-time-only stop for Arnold since he was needed in CA to help with the economy there and balance the budget. Because of this, he wasn’t able to get out on the campaign trail sooner or more effectively.

I really think this could have been the Republicans answer to Bill Clinton and what he does for the Democrats.

We shall see what happens but this may have been a lost opportunity. For that matter, why doesn’t McCain use former PA Governor Tom Ridge in helping swing that state? He’s right there for the taking but apparantly somewhat “bitter” (he made a comment once that had McCain chose him for VP he might have been able to deliever PA to McCain by now)

For the record I think it was said tongue-in-cheek.

CNN’s Campbell Brown commits more bias on her show “No Bias, No Bull”

Latest gaffe comes on safe night FOXNEWS' Bill O'Reilly notes her for this!

On the Tuesday October 28 edition of “No Bias, No Bull” with Campbell Brown I noticed the following yesterday night when I was watching her show in between FOXNEWS commerial breaks.

Alright here is the http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0810/28/ec.01.html from yesterday’s “No Bias, No Bull” with CNN’s Campbell Brown.

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0810/28/ec.01.html

*Here is a brief summary preceiding her gaffe. * it comes during a three team panel with Gloria Borger, Republican Strategist Kevin Madden, and Obama Supporter Roland Martin.

BROWN: Right. All right, guys, stand with me, because — or stay with me, because we’re going to talk in a moment about some of the stuff that we have been hearing about going on inside the McCain campaign. So, stick around, rumors, as we have reported, of sniping between the running mates, even talk that Sarah Palin is already planning her own run for the White House in 2012.

And, later, you knew it had to happen. Joe the plumber hits the campaign trail. We are going to take you to his first news conference — briefly, believe me.

What do you think of that? Pretty obvious anti-Joe the Plumber sentiment. How can she get away with this, especially when her show claims its very name on NO BIAS?

I caught this last night and here is the proof. Please make this known to your viewers.

Take a look at more example of her YouTube bias. This is one of my personal favorites below.

CNN’s Campbell Brown shows her bias again this time against Joe the Plumber

First Fox News' Bill O'Reilly calls her out on 10/28 show, then she proves him RIGHT that same night

On the Tuesday October 28th edition of CNN’s “No Bias, no Bull” with Campbell Brown, as she is segwaying from one topic to another to foreshadow an upcoming commercial break she says the following:

*”And, later, you knew it had to happen. Joe the plumber hits the campaign trail. We are going to take you to his first news conference — briefly, believe me.”*

It came during the first twenty minutes of the show, during a back-and-forth panel between “CNN senior political analyst Gloria Borger, Republican strategist and McCain supporter Kevin Madden, and CNN political analyst and Obama supporter Roland Martin.”

You can read the transcript here[http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0810/28/ec.01.html]

It is about 1/3 of the way down the page.

Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly additionally criticized Brown for her anti-Fox News bias in his “Talking Points Memo” that opens his show that same night. You can see that video here.
