Hi, I’m a newcomer to RedState and I just wanted to say hi because I see some other newcomers have recommended that as a way of getting to know the community.  I wanted to start my first diary by saying God bless the USA, because I think that’s something that doesn’t get said enough online, even on RedState.  In the next few weeks, I’ll be blogging about why we should repeal the estate tax, expand gun rights, and raise the voting age.  I look forward to engaging with y’all!

RedState has more than helped me refine my arguments with said friends, in fact I seem to be winning more and more, well until they storm off all het up and spewing pee and wind.
And with the encouragement of RedStaters I’ve attended my local county meetings a couple of times and will be getting a copy of the rules and by laws at the next one, so here is hoping I can become a precinct captain.
Alas I have to miss out on the first Redstate gathering, finances, as I’m sure it will provide a lot of helpful hints and networking.
