The United States of America – Our Government Today

It is nearing August 2010 and look where we are today. Our federal government, [mis]lead by President Barry Soetoro (a.k.a. Barack Hussein Obama), has 1) begun to impose higher taxes to support the new entitlement programs passed by a liberal Congress and signed into law by our socialist President. 2) Resurrected racism to a new level, increasing the racial divide. 3) Failed to effectively prosecute those engaging in both voter fraud and voter intimidation. 4) Embarked upon the nationalization of private industries [Auto, Banking, Health Care (including Insurance, Medical, Medical devices...), and many more to come]. 5) Begun to dismantle the Capitalist economy as we know it. 6) Risen the distaste of the People for politicians to new heights with the deceptive practices being employed by the Administration, by Congress, and soon by the Supreme Court. Is this the America we grew up in? Is this the tolerance we were taught in public schools to appreciate and practice?

If this is not the time to become involved in your community, involved in the direction of your life…if not now, then when? Your actions have consequences for you and for your neighbors. Stand together and take back our government. Hundreds of thousands of brave Americans have died to preserve our right to vote. Is it not our responsibility to elect those who will represent our values as they legislate. Is it not time to terminate those with self-serving agendas that pollute Washington? Is it not time to elect officials with an integrity sufficient to uphold their oath of office? If not now…then when?

The United States of America is at a juncture in its political evolution that will have significant consequences for the world. No…we are not the world, but our economy, our intellectual prowess providing a multitude of inventions, our generosity, our military power…our being, has impacted the globe since our founding. Our net effect on the quality of lives for billions around the world has been positive. The decision of the Masses in America on November 4, 2008 was not for the Change that has materialized. The People could not have wanted to diverge from the founding Principles that include: a Constitutionally limited Government, Equal Justice for All, Domestic Tranquility, a Strong National Defense to protect our borders, a Government that would promote the general Welfare for our People, and Secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity. If not now…then when?

Yes, it is nearing August 2010 and look where we are today. Envision where we might be in November 2010 if you do not get involved!

Start in Massachusetts to Stand together against Federal injustice.

How can one man make a difference today? How can one woman stand up against injustice effectively? We cannot truly believe that the lawlessness enabling the genocide of Rwanda, the events bringing us into Somali, and other similar type experiences are isolated to those places alone. Here, living in the United States of America, is what I know. Can this country, the United States of America, collapse into such chaos? Can we lose the respect for the rule of law that binds the fabric of our society? When such injustice is apparent, what actions are justifiable by the People to recapture our government?

Could the events that occurred in 2008 with the Presidential election irregularities reported across the country signal the beginning of such chaos? These irregularities were simply swept away with little notice. Once we turn away from this injustice to pretend it did not exist, we turn toward the loss of a common respect that all good men and women abide, so as to live in a safe community; one where liberty for ourselves and our prosperity is a principle highly valued.

The Shot Heard Around the World…Again?

All American Citizens living in the State of Massachusetts. You have the opportunity to be part of history once again. We have been taught of the courage within the Citizens of Massachusetts; illustrated time and again. One example is listed below.

The battles of Lexington and Concord were the first military engagements of the American Revolutionary War.[8][9] They were fought on April 19, 1775, in Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, within the towns of Lexington, Concord, Lincoln, Menotomy (present-day Arlington), and Cambridge, near Boston. The battles marked the outbreak of open armed conflict between the Kingdom of Great Britain and its thirteen colonies in the mainland of British North America.
Citation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Lexington_and_Concord

The special senate election to fill the seat vacated with the death of Senator Ted Kennedy last year will be decided Tuesday, January 19. The choices are clear. Democrat Martha Coakley will carry on the Kennedy agenda of Big Government and Big Social Programs that will continue to strain all Americans, and Republican Scott Brown would follow a conservative agenda focused on limiting a Responsible Federal Government.

On Tuesday the Citizens of Massechusetts will have the Right to Vote to protect our Constitution and Liberty; to protect our homeland. The votes cast will impact the entire nation in many ways. The votes cast will send Congress a clear message; with either result. These Citizens could tell Congress to step aside and see how the People of the Greatest Country on earth adapt the current situation to their ultimate success. Americans are resilient. We are competitors that do not stand down to injustice. America will rebound as long as Congress and the President move out of our way. Or, conversely, the people can aid in the misdirection of Congress and the restraint of our liberties. I urge you Vote FOR America.

Send a Shot that will bring the insane Congress back to sanity. Send another Shot that will be Heard Around the World!

Supporting observations:

Reading the information posted in the Issues tab on Scott Brown’s website (http://www.brownforussenate.com/), I infer the following. He supports free enterprise, lower taxes, reduction in out-of-control spending and national debt, responsible development of alternative energy sources, accountability and choice in education, strengthened borders, enhanced employment verification system, Second Amendment Rights, capital punishment for certain crimes, alternatives to abortion, and the traditional meaning of marriage between a man and a woman. Brown opposes the current health care bill before Congress, cap and trade program, amnesty for illegal immigrants.

Reading the information posted in the Issues tab on Martha Coakley’s website I infer the following. She supports abortion rights for women, same sex marriagge, the health care reform legislation, increaased regulation over financial institutions, Public (government) education, exiting Afghanistan…and more.

Oakley opposes the provider conscience regulations as relatred to abortion, the death penalty for any crimes…? You will have to visit her website to learn more about her views as there is too much written to restate.

Looking at the policies and programs being forced upon all Americans, the reality of my fear is coming into focus. Tonight I came to a startling realization while watching a CBS news broadcast. Near the end of the story about the CBS Correspondents that had covered Afghanistan, one correspondent described life in Afghanistan in 1982. During his monolog, video of life in the country was shown depicting people walking the streets…going about their daily lives. The video illustrated life not unlike that in any European or American city. Women were dressed as they would be in America, Britain, Australia, or any other “Western’ country. This is in stark contrast to life today in Afghanistan; where women are pressured or forced to wear the hijab and burka, in a country where Islamic rule is ubiquitous.

Apparently there has been drastic “Change” in the society of Afghanistan since 1982. We are also witnessing drastic “Change” in the American society; one that I have known and loved my entire life. Could it be possible that this is all in the design of the Obama Machine? Where are the Liberal Executive and Legislative Branches of our government taking us? We have seen the reckless and unaccountable spending of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the pending costs of American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009, the planned nationalization of the health care insurance industry through America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009, the acquisition and distribution of ownership of the American Automobile industry…and on, and on, and on.

As we know, given the spending of these Acts, the future generations of Americans will never be able to realize the quality of life as did Obama, all in his family and friends, all those working in his Administration, all those currently in Congress distributing our tax dollars, and all of earlier generations during the past seventy years. Instead, this Administration, along with the current Congress, has traded the American Future for their present day indulgence. They are attempting to create a two tiered class system in America as seen in other past and present day tyrannical governments around the world. Does the Taliban fit this model? Obama and his cronies will reside in the Ruling Class reaping the rewards of their conquest. This Ruling Class will dictate laws designed to control every aspect of our lives; from the toilet paper we use to the food we eat, to the light bulbs that illuminate our evenings. These laws will not constrain their daily activities, nor hinder their desires. They will control the Working Class through select entitlements. The Sheeple will fall in line in order to be granted their daily rationings. Those not adhering to the rules set forth will be penalized without recourse.
