She spoke at an event I attended a couple of years ago. "Won by Love" was a wonderful story about her conversion to Christianity and to the cause of life. I would recommend everyone read it.

You are right about the "ambitious lawyer." Sarah Weddington, still in law school at the time, hatched the whole plan for the case. She lured McCorvey into signing on to the case. She and her husband remain heroes of the pro-abortion movement and the legal establishment.

It is my understanding that it was a big news story back in the mid-90s when it happened. It faded quickly, though it should be at least somewhat familiar to anyone familiar with Fifth Circuit Judge Edith Jones.

You may also not have known that Sandra Cano, the Doe in Doe v Bolton (Roe's companion case defining "health") was angered about her case. While she had always been pro-life, her case was brought by the ACLU without her knowledge.

the person "Roe" changing her view and now protesting in favor of the other side in one of the most discussed cases ever would be a little more newsworthy.

But, hey, that's just me.

Have read a couple reports that she may not have been arrested. However, whether or not doesn't matter to the point as she was protesting there.
