RESIGN!!

By absentee Comments (21) / Email this page » / Leave a comment »

Who should resign? Well ... everybody! Everybody should resign! Why? Well ... everything! Everything is why!

Hastert must resign over Foley.
Cheney must resign over Plame.
Cornyn must resign over comments.

But wait, theres more ....

Boehnert must resign over Foley.
Cheney must resign over Plame.
Bush and Cheney must resign over Plame.
Bush must resign over Katrina.
Rice must resign over meeting.
Bush must resign over Katrina.
Rove must resign over Plame.
Everyone must resign over everything. (seriously)
Everyone must resign over Katrina.
Rumsfeld must resign over ... interviews.
Bush must resign over NSA wiretaps.
Rumsfeld must resign over existing.
Cornyn must resign over comments.
Rove must resign over comments.
Bush and Cheney must resign over Katrina.
Cheney must resign over hunting accident.
Rumsfeld must resign over ... everything.

Tired of searching, but you get the point. Delay, Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld, Hastert, Rove, Boehnert, Lott, Frist, Santorum, Allen, Hutchison, Snow, Lieberman, Schwarzenegger, Jeb Bush ... the list goes on and on and on.

You're hard-pressed to find someone who the left hasn't demanded a resignation from.

If you have more, please feel free to link them here. I may post a few more later myself. This is, after all, barely scratching the surface.

Update: As MartinAKnight points out, this is a strategy. Like the use of the courts to bypass legislatures and the voice of the people, the left uses media pressure to demand, sometimes successfully, resignations of those they know they can't beat at the ballot box.

In Europe, if anything goes wrong, some relevant Minister falls on his sword and resigns, even if the relevant Minister was right. That way if anyone asks about the problem, people will say "Oh, that minister resigned, right?"

It sure beats solving the problems.
--
If you're seeing shades of gray, it's because you're not looking close enough to see the black and white dots.

In Europe, if a Minister resigns because he can't face up to a problem (not always his fault, sometimes he wants to do something the labor unions won't stand for, and they riot), he usually writes a book the following year, and makes more money than he ever did in government.

Crying about problems is more profitable than solving them, which is also how socialists win elections. If they actually solved problems, they wouldn't be needed any more, so they perpetuate the problems so they can propose themselves as the solution.

If this sounds harsh, I lived in France for 11 years. Forget about the President, Prime Minister, or any other minister. The labor unions run the place. The government does their will, or they riot and force ministers to resign.

The bad news: Conservatism is hard to sell. The good news is that it works.

The ultimate determinant in the struggle now going on for the world will not be bombs and rockets but a test of wills and ideas-a trial of spiritual resolve: the values we hold, the beliefs we cherish and the ideals to which we are dedicated.-Reagan

I have offered to resign over:

Foley, Plame, Katrina, NSA wiretaps, existing ,hunting accident, and everything that no one else has resigned over.

Thus far it has not made any difference, the political landscape continues to spin into the toilet.

True, you can sit outside in Paris and drink little cups of coffee, but why this is more stylish than sitting inside and drinking large glasses of whisky, I don't know.

To having to listen to the leftists and their MSM mouthpieces. Until we figure out how to infiltrate them with a virus, (infiltrate the MSM computers, infiltrate the D leader's brains - or whatever it is they have in their heads!!) we don't seem to have much choice.

I wonder if Clayton could address this in his 'spare' time?

DeLay was a power-mad jerk that corrupted the democratic system
by bribing congressman's votes by lobbyists. Look, Red Staters,
we (conservatives) are about to face (in Nov) the same payback that Dem's suffered in '94 by the Gingrich revolution, and for the same reasons. They got corrupted by power-hunger, abandoned their base voters (labor). Sound familiar?

And, more importantly, Red Staters have got to resolve their true motives. Do they want a two party (or more) democracy, or a
single party, Right-wing dictatorship. If a two party system, we are going to lose power, now and then. For me that's a fair price to pay for democracy.

DeLay was your worst enemy (and a blasphemer).

The way he switches between "we" and "you" when referring to Republicans would be obvious in any case, heh. Even if he swallowed the 'dictatorship' stuff!

And I mean all of them, not just the so-called far left. They should resign for what they don't say (on to victory), for not publicly denouncing thier fellow Dems that share al Qaida and Saddam's Lawyer's talking points and for staying in the Dem party with such vermin.

Excellent link. by David Hinz

She makes some great points.

If it were clear to the Iraqi people that politicians in D.C. were committed to finishing the mission in Iraq, would the attitude of the people there be different?

I've been beating this nag since the war began! When we marched into Baghdad the Iraqis did NOT (all) greet the American soldiers with kisses and flowers as we expected them to. Why? Because too many Iraqis remembered President GHWB extolling them to revolt, that the US would support such aopular uprising...then stood by as hundreds of thousands of them were slaughtered by the butcher of Baghdad.

Accordingly, they were somewhat reluctant to get too cozy until it became clear the "this" President Bush meant what he said and would not abandon them back to torture and oppression.

So...has the American left given them any reason to believe that we will continue to support them...with or without this President. NOTTACHANCE!

Did anyone happen to watch the Chris Shays debate on C-SPAN? It was hard to distinguish him from Farrell. He's called for Rumfeld's resignation. (see newsmax ) I don't get it- he's ahead in the polls, and will probably coast in for a win of at a MINIMUM of 5 points, probably more. Shays' rhetoric isn't very helpful.
