Throw ideology out of the window when you start messing with people's money. In 2008, it was the GOP that was perceived as screwing with people's money, (not true), but now I am starting to believe there is nobody but the dems to blame now.

Despite the talking points and Bill O missing the mark (HC Bill reason) we need only look at recent political history.

The obvious (glaringly) achilles heels of past democrat (aka secular socialist) presidents have been the economy and foreign policy.
Obama is a radical (not a liberal) so his performance in these areas has been worse than bad....just awful to be kind.

The trillions in new debt, the failure (DEMOCRAT congress since Jan. 2007) to stop job losses and the "bash blame America" rants do not make voters whose retirement funds are still six figures down after all the lofty platitudes (and serial blameshifting) the least bit happy.

Patriotism is not Party-specific. IRAs are not Party-specific. Pink slips are not Party-specific. Smiles and promises get stale. Blaming others gets stale. Trashing America gets stale. None of the Obama ploys pays your bills or gets you a job. Ten percent jobless is NEVER acceptable.

This voter attitude is based upon self-interest. The socialists will have their strawmen and talking points but the meltdown has only begun.
The HC Bill ($1.2 trillion) and Cap-N-Tax (trillions in new taxes) added to other (on the table) huge new taxes while letting tax cuts expire (to shrink paychecks) just means the voter anger will become a fiery rage.

Mark it. Bet on it. Ignore the distractions.

With 1 per cent in, the Republican candidates for Gov., Lt. Gov. and AG are winning by 2 to 1.

Wow!

I realize that could just be from one particular Republican stronghold, but those numbers look NICE.

Thank you.

The MSM and the Dem war room is definitely going to try to make the NY-23 thing be about conservatives throwing out the "moderate" because of here social stands, what they won't ever mention (and I am listening to that FOX P.O.S Shepard Smith), that she was also very supportive of Stimulus, cap and trade, and card check. So overall she was actually no different from the Democrat Owens.
