What a difference a day makes.  While the Left scrambles to find soccer schedules for spring extra-curricular leagues, questions still remain and continue to multiply.  What we do know is that there was no Sidwell Friends soccer game on Saturday.  And yes, I know there are other leagues, I’m a mom.

So let’s look to other leagues.  The premier Washington Area Girls Soccer (WAGS) soccer league did not have any scheduled games on Saturday at Fort Reno Park.  The WAGS league (girls 12 and under) only game at 9:30AM was at  Benfield in Severna Park, MD.  There was, however, the Stoddert Soccer League, which did have one game on Saturday morning at Fort Reno.  But, before everyone says, “Well, there you go, it was that game,” you should know that the Obamas appear not to be members of this league.  So how would she be playing in a Stoddert game?  We also don’t know which daughter, so we don’t know the age of the team—was it 12 and under or a different age group, say 10 and under?

In addition, the  AP reports:

Reporters and photographers didn’t have a chance to see him or his vehicle to verify his presence at any location.

And there it is.  We still don’t know.  No photos, the press pool turned around when told to (why, I’ll never understand), only statements from the WH, and a possible eyewitness as Tweeted by Mark Knoller.

I appreciate Knoller (who I greatly respect) writing on the subject, the President’s behavior is curious.  It may be a case of poor judgment, but at what cost.  I don’t consider asking additional questions and further investigating this protocol breach because, well, he’s the President.  Can you imagine if Bush did this?  The Left and Code Pink would have thought he gave the nuclear codes away.  Seriously.

As far as conspiracy theories, sometimes Obama does fan the flames himself and could easily put so many questions to rest if he would not pull stunts like this and maybe, just maybe unseal his personal records. [Lefties head explode with birfer! Ah, but not so, just stating the facts here] People must admit, the MSM did not do such a hot job of vetting their Messiah, and this is just another example of the media pass.  Did I miss the memo, is vetting a candidate racist?  The American public is already completely sensitized by Obama’s policies–I said policies–and this just further heightens the mood.

While Media Matters tries to negate my points, I stated that Sidwell Friends did not have any games at Fort Reno–which is correct. I also posted links to crimes committed within one to two weeks in the same area. The area may be safe; however, the crimes I cite were reported in the police report.  So, are the police lying?  The rest of their article is fluff and swipes.  Soooo 2008.

I do love how the Left tries to minimize anything Obama does–I know that’s their job–so it’s expected. But really, we still have no proof he attended the game. And that is a fact.   While those on the Left dismiss people’s concerns as stupid or crazy, many beg to differ.  What makes this a larger problem is that, as I mentioned, the President of Poland was killed just hours before, almost 50 heads of state were in DC for the nuclear summit, and we are not even sure Obama had Secret Service with him. 

With all of supposed threats from the Right that the MSM reports daily, why would Obama choose to be so random in his actions.  Why didn’t he stay at the White House for updates on the Poland loss?  Did he need a warm fuzzy to be near his daughter?  And that would be fine–just take the press pool and tell them to be hidden.  But, everything is planned and staged all to show he’s just a regular guy. He definitely not camera shy–not even when getting ice cream or a burger.  What was different?

Those questions about Obama’s whereabouts will persist and the Left is trying desperately to ridicule anyone, enter Alinsky Rule 5, who dares question Teh One.  It is interesting that they are taking what Robert Gibbs says as gospel and cease to ask any further questions–typical lapdog media.  And so, it is done.  Even without a simple picture of Obama–especially when there are so many with cameras, iPhones, and Blackberries.

Finally, I understand that this can be interpreted as a trivial matter, but it is rather a testament of no matter how trivial or monumental the event or issue at hand from a soccer game, policy specifics, political associations, and/or ideology, the reflexive nature of the MSM to protect this President at all costs is revealing.  I mean really, it’s just a soccer game.

Every day is an adventure in the Obama-nation. On Monday, the United States opened the nuclear summit with almost 50 participating countries with President Obama greeting each country’s leader. Obama, as seen in these photos (scroll through them to see the other greetings), extended a very warm welcome–especially to Communist Chinese President Hu Jintao–to whom he bowed.

Now before all you lefties get in an uproar, I’d like to go through my points. The Left says it is a sign of respect when Obama bows to foreign leaders.

Well, then wouldn’t it be disrespectful for Obama to bow to some leaders and not the others? Really, wouldn’t it only be fair and just for him to treat everyone equally. Isn’t that what the Left is all about–fairness and treating everyone the same?

What do those other leaders think when they didn’t get the Obama bow? Did they think or feel like Obama doesn’t respect their country or people enough to give the same bow to them?

Or, does Obama have a certain reverence towards the Communist president?

So, let’s talk this one out. The AP reports:

About two hours before reporters were supposed to be in position to leave with the president, Obama left the grounds of the White House. Members of the press were told he was attending one of his daughter’s soccer games in northwest Washington, D.C.

The White House press corps traditionally travels with the president anywhere he goes, inside and outside the country, to report on the president’s activities for the benefit of informing the public and for historical record.

After Obama left, a press aide hastily gathered members of the media who happened to be at the White House early or working on other matters. They rushed to a van and left the White House to catch up with the president.

Too late. By the time, the press van appeared to arrive at the president’s location, the press was told he was already departing. Time to go back to the White House.

Reporters and photographers didn’t have a chance to see him or his vehicle to verify his presence at any location.

Time also reported the time and location of the supposed game as at:

The president left the White House at approximately 9:20 to attend one of his daughter’s soccer games at 40th and Chesapeake NW. A pool was hastily called at around 9:35 and drove north at 9:43 to catch the president before the game ended. We didn’t make it. The President returned to the White House at 10:17. The pool returned at 10:30.

So that is the story. Except there are some problems with it. The first one is a biggie in that there were no scheduled soccer games for Sidwell Friends April 10 as evidenced here. The second is that the area reported that the game was played at appears to be one of high crime as documented here and here. Additionally, this is a pic of the field where he went to watch the game.

This just does not make sense. The President of the United States venturing out (was Secret Service even with him?) to a soccer game that didn’t exist in a high-crime area.

If the President left the White House at 9:20AM as reported, according to Mapquest, it takes about 16 minutes to get from the White House to 40th and Chesapeake NW, bringing his arrival time to the field at 9:36AM or so.  But, then he would have had to leave the field at the latest at 10:00AM to return to the White House at the documented time of 10:17AM.  So, he spent about 20 minutes at the game?  When did the game end?  That time is vague as well.

Furthermore, with all of the technology that people have–iPhones, Blackberries–not one person took a photo of Obama? And the press didn’t get a shot of him getting into his vehicle? For a person who loves the camera and every single opportunity to be photographed, this just does not add up, folks.

It just doesn’t pass the test of logistics and definitely smells like some kind of cover up, especially with the casual tone of the report. It will be interesting to see what Robert Gibbs, David Axelrod, and company will say on the talk shows and at Monday’s press conference. But, remember, the truth never changes.

Update: By the way, this is what Obama looks like at a soccer game. Still no pictures–even two days later. Where did the President go? Where is the media? Considering we just disarmed to Russia and Poland’s President and 95 others were killed hours before, and Kyrgystan’s government was just overthrown should raise even more questions.

How divided this country has become. I have never heard such contempt and sophomoric talk against the American public by their own elected officials in my life. I guess they are learning from Teh One’s great oratory skills and his eloquent use of Alinsky’s tactics. Bart Stupak, who’s true colors are reflected in this video at about 3:29 in, by sounding off on his fellow Americans:

If anything I just made the tea party people spend a lot of money that wasn’t necessary on all these ads they have to run against me so they can’t use it on anyone else. So I’ll take credit for sucking their treasury dry.”

Really, Bart? The “Tea Party people.” Who are the tea partiers, Bart? They are your betrayed constituents who now give their hard-earned money to defeat progressive-socialists hiding in conservative clothing politicians like yourself. They are hard-working Americans who are tired of government taking over their lives and stealing the fruits of their labors through oppressive taxation. They are the very people you call ‘neighbor’ and ‘friend’ back in Michigan.

This now seems to be the norm and how elected members of Congress and other officials treat those who have been betrayed by their congressmen. Role models, indeed. Your constituents did not want you to vote “yes” on the government health care takeover, nor did they want to pay for abortions and unconscionably kill unborn babies. After 18 years of service, your ego finally consumed you. We could see it in the interviews with Greta. The man of the hour–Bart Stupak–was it worth it?

Additionally, as seen in this other video, you clearly did not have the consent of your constituents–the governed–and yet you still voted for the takeover despite their vehement opposition.

I’d have to say, Bart, that you drove yourself out when you lost sight of the fact that you were sent to DC to represent your neighbors back in Michigan. See, you have to look them in the eye and know that you betrayed them, their voice, and lest we forget the unborn who you used as a political tool to get your 15 minutes. Too bad the 15 minutes were of shame and not fame. I feel sorry for you–knowing what you did and how you will have to explain yourself to your grandchildren that you were the great betrayer of the American people and the unborn.

History will not be kind to you, Mr. Stupak. We can only hope there are enough “Tea Party people” across America–the land of the free and the home of the brave–to take her back and elect people that will cause a reverse legislative revolution and restore this Constitutional Republic back to what the Founder’s intended.
