At that point, the 10th Amendment will have been rewritten as follows: <em>The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution nonetheless still reside in the United States, and are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people, only by specific delegation by the United States.</em> Of course at that point, the Constitution will have become the tool of oppression rather than a charter of freedom.
