And he’s spending $634 BILLION to PARTIALLY pay for expanding health care? And he’s going to pay for it by RAISING TAXES for the wealthy (gee, that top 2% sure are popular – they get to pay for ALL THIS CRAP!) and curbing health care spending. This guy is so disconnected I’m surprised his head is even attached to his body. He claimed (about 10 times) last night that he was going to cure cancer – but I’m sure cancer treatment and care will be one of those expenses “curbed” under this system – low effectiveness, you know.

I can’t believe the speed with which he is ramming all these bills through congress. Well, I can, because they do give us a LITTLE credit – they know if these bills were actually our for public review there would be such an outcry that they’d never pass – so it’s hurry up and pass, just like the stimulus bill.

This whole thing is really making me sick. I better go to my doctor while I still can.

Oh, the news just announced the gov’t is considering another bail out for the banks. Great….. Now I’m REALLY sick!

but I am really tired of hearing about Universal Health Care. Let’s see, the costs of preventive care would be enormous – with little benefit (regardless of all those that declare major problems diagnosed earlier). I imagine that way too many go to the Doctor for flu and cold symptoms. Has anyone ever broken out the costs of preventive care with that of catastrophic care? I know that I do NOT want to burden my children with my care.
