(Which, to me, is very strange when you consider it was the CIA that effectively tried to stage a virtual coup d'etat against the Bush Admin. along with the State Dept. - but I guess you can never accuse Lefties of thinking "rationally"!) Anyway, that means no CIA appointment with a background in intelligence (which is exactly what this nation needs in current times - but national security is no matter to these guys!!). So, if Obama throws Panetta under the bus, and can't appoint anyone with a background in the military or intelligence, I'm not exactly sure who that leaves. I think Obama may be hosed on this one.
