I don’t trust Powell an inch, he apparently feels guilty about promoting the Iraq war (but shouldn’t) and is trying to make amends.

Powell’s advice and a quarter will get you a cup of coffee at 7-11 (small). Who cares what he thinks, Obama’s programs are a guaranteed fail- and that’s all that matters in the end. There’ll be no hiding the damage Obama is doing to the county in a year or two. I love how these critics of the GOP assume everything will just work out great with trillion dollar deficits and a pacifist foreign policy-

The way I see it, the constitution has been raped, tortured and all but set ablaze in our nation’s capital over the last three months, and it makes me want to vomit.

All of these things will get people focused real quick.

All of the moderates need to really examine themselves. Either their liberal social agenda is more important or their relative fiscal conservatism is. The base of the GOP has completed this process and has chosen our priority. We are firmly seated in our priciples. Moderates need to find one and then get over it not being about them.

But of course, he will do just the opposite, so we have to be waiting with a platform that is a real change from liberalism when the voters realize what a mistake they have made.

IF they really were like they claim to be I would not have a big problem with them. The truth is, if you believe in the core values of personal liberty, then more often than not you will be conservative on nearly every issue. With only a few exceptions.

But if you have little in the way of core convictions, then you are easily swayed by the arguments of the day, and thus a useful tool to the Democrats.

Now, you can refute the BBC’s numbers, but their claim is that casualty rates since Obama’s inauguration have been increasing month to month. You can say that doesn’t mean anything, but the simple fact that violence has increased since Obama’s election is factual.

As to your Rasmussen Poll, Gallup has him at 67%. scarlos, below, has some evidence that Rasmussen is likely more accurate, but 67-27 is pretty different than 56-43, which is the difference from Gallup to Ramussen. Both are pretty far outside the other’s MOE, even when in conjunction. Saying Rasmussen is just correct because you, donttreadonme, happen to know because you say so is just smug.
