Or a “convenient” lack of curiosity. Pelosi, when first taking the speaker position, gave a speech regarding how she will perform her job with “Civility, integrity, and bi partisanship”. I would love to see just one out out three from her. One time!

They can choose to violate the law and face the consequences if the principle at stake is one they hold dear enough.

her political gain by keeping quiet. She and Harman are at odds, and now the NSA is saying it has reason to listen-in on her. This is one of those moments where “classified” and “confidentiality” suited Pelosi.

but I do think that if she did discuss the issue with anyone she would have broken the law. So there wasn’t much she could do.

I do have to wonder what’s the point of telling certain Congressional leaders this stuff if they can’t act on the information.
