Clearly today's UAW is an intimidating force. They are intimidating Congress or the President for a bailout and the American Public during press conferences. Did you see Gettlefinger speaking with his big burly union guys behind him? What is he, Louis Farrahkan?

There's no way in the world we can allow the proposed card-check law to pass. You know what that will result in.

...if they operated the way they're supposed to. Collective bargaining, working toward safe working conditions, etc. But when they don't get their way and they then don't just strike, but actually sabotage the companies that pay their wages, the whole thing is like legalized extortion.

I know personally of instances of unions that have directly sabotaged businesses. For instance, one union dispute at a lumber yard in my area led to the union calling customers of the yard and threatening them with "union troubles" of their own if they continued to do business with the yard.

These types of things are commonplace, and to me, should be against the law.

proves they are the THUGS we think they are and why they must be SHUT DOWN!

Unions are the bane of this societies existence.....they were necessary at one time BUT they have made themselves irrelevent due to the threats and their inability to understand that their time has come and went and to continue to attempt to hold their employers hostage just makes them the first people not able to get work when it's all over!

I can see their resume's now with union boss on it and employers first thought "I don't need that crap". They are holdovers from a time gone past and they as the deadtree media will only be in history books within 10 years!
