There may be some things we don’t know about Barack Obama, but there are some aspects of his personality we’ve heard a lot about. He’s got a first class temperament. He is a man who listens, learns, and manages well. He’s demonstrated nimbleness and judgment, with a willingness to reach out to those with whom he disagrees.
Set aside the endorsements, he’s shown an exceptionally thin skin, and has little tolerance for those who won’t join his throng of cheerleaders:
The Obama campaign has decided to heave out three newspapers from its plane for the final days of its blitz across battleground states — and all three endorsed Sen. John McCain for president!
The NY POST, WASHINGTON TIMES and DALLAS MORNING NEWS have all been told to move out by Sunday to make room for network bigwigs — and possibly for the inclusion of reporters from two black magazines, ESSENCE and JET, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
Despite pleas from top editors of the three newspapers that have covered the campaign for months at extraordinary cost, the Obama campaign says their reporters — and possibly others — will have to vacate their coveted seats so more power players can document the final days of Sen. Barack Obama’s historic campaign to become the first black American president.
Plug ‘George Bush’ and ‘imperial presidency’ into Google and you get more than 246,000 results. Liberals have spent the last 8 years decrying the insular nature of the Bush administration, and the purported tendency of administration officials to dismiss the views of those they disagree with. What do they think of a presidential candidate who’s already dismissing those who disagree with him before the election has even occurred?

Obama as a Nixon/Carter hybrid, certainly NOT JFK (who actually cut taxes, not just promised it), Reagan, or even Bill Clinton, like he’s been trying to bamboozle people into believing he would model himself after.
Watergate era (remember all that and the reason for the Public Campaign Finance, and other Laws?) politics like the actions of bringing on Jet/Essence Magazines (Monthly periodicals) aboard after NY Post,Washington Times, Dallas Morning News.
Or maybe this is just Plane seats Affirmative Action!?!? like he’s promised to model Federal Courts to provide ‘Affirmative Action’ and “Redistributive Justice.”
Perhaps it’s just coincidence (yeah, right, like anything they’ve done/said has been coincidence [or on accident]), or probably has to do with the fact that even more RADICAL “Michelle Obama’s entourage” (campaign spokesman’s words) joined the campaign plane.
Nothing to worry about… Like having TV stations banned from access (remember Biden?). Not like they’d try to bring back the Fairness Doctrine or anything, Right?!?!?!

I was born and did live in such a country. As a rule media is the first to lose freedom. Look at any socialist and communist country. Leaders in these countries don’t have horns or don’t look menacing. The press is forced OUT of business. Even in less freer democracies. Look at Russia, Cuba, China and a lot more. So either you lose your conscience or you are forced out of the way.
When I listen to Obama looking to make fundamental changes or fix the fundamental flaws I just don’t like it. Even the constitution seems to have fundamental flaws. So nothing is sacred. What amazes me most is how so many people can get behind such a guy.
Media(even those showering praise) needs to get ready for very tough times in case this guy gets elected. Some will fight and some will surrender. I hope there are a lot who will choose to fight.
