Has it ocurred to anyone that BO’s future Inaugural address is really a trash talk tactic to discourage would be McCain voters?

I’m taking the advice of Sean Hannity and disregarding any polls. Most of them have been shown to oversample Democrats. I don’t see any of this cultic love for Obama except among certain groups.

It would be hilarious if come 11/5 Obama and his Drive Bys find themselves all dressed up and no place to go at his Chicago victory party.

As for the McCain campaign keep hammering Obama on “Share the Wealth”. At the same time McCain/Palin need to offer the alternative to Obama’s Socialism. That would be cutting taxes for businesses so they can create the jobs for a recovery, Energy Independence, MSAs that can be rolled into IRAS and 401ks, a freeze on fovernment spending..the list could go on of positive proposals.

I’m only an average voter. Every time I hear any Democrat promising a “Middle Class Tax Cut” I think of Lucy and the football with Charlie Brown. Other people I know think the same. The Dems always seem to snooker enough Soccer Moms/Docker Dads into buying this.

For example, he pronounces “to” as “tuh”. Remember when they mocked Bush over his twang?

If these people are this confident of winning, does anyone understand the magnitude of the “stolen election” news stories that will occur if Obama loses?

With this kind of confidence, if he loses, it could be south central LA on a national scale and the Democrats will feed it to make it happen.

The facts will not matter one bit to the Democrats on this one. They feel it is theirs and losing will not be acceptable. Whatever they do, the ends will justify the means.

That kind of confidence scares me in this instance.

Honestly, I really believe it’s this sort of thinking that has carried Obama as far as he’s gone: He plans ahead. Or at least his team does.

That’s how he did the end-run around Hillary, as she was so busy counting her General Election chickens that she didn’t bother having her people understand how delegate counts worked. While she was working on a “Winner-Take-All” model of big victories in her strongholds like CA and NY, Obama built a nationwide structure intended to maximize his votes even in the places he knew he wouldn’t “win”. So even though she got more votes in my homestate of Texas, he got more delegates by targeting the delegate-rich areas of the state, like Austin. And he knew how to work the heck out of the caucus systems, while she ignored it completely. And they planned that out far in advance, rather than waiting to see if he needed it. By the time Hillary’s people started reading about state primary laws, his people were already on the ground and wooing voters.

And that’s what he’s done against McCain too. You might think it’s presumptious to plan ahead like you’ve already won, but that’s what winners do. You can think what you want about Obama, but his campaign organization is what got him as far as he’s gone. They plan to win, and that’ll defeat good policies and strong character any day. Like it or not, that’s how politics work.

Of course Barry has had it ghostwritten for him already. Good grief they probably wrote the speech for him 4 years ago, back when they took a radical liberal and reinvented him as a moderate for TV purposes.

The real audacity will come when he delivers the Inaugural Address next week during his big prime time nationwide prime time network special.

This has been the most intellectually dishonest campaign in American History. Obama, and his buddies in the media have perpetrated fraud on this country and if America does not wake up in the next 8 days, they might just get away with it

Not sure why this is an issue as I would rather have someone be ready from day one vs. waiting until the last minute.

we need people willing to moderate the site at night. I know what the Kossacks are trying to do. They are afraid of debating us, so they spout pro-Obama rhetoric at night here to damage the site. I have offered my services, to the sound of crickets, but we are going to keep getting this stuff. The nutroots do not like daylight, they are nocturnal creatures.

Inaugural address already written, bills in Congress already waiting for him to sign, victory celebrations being set up in Chicago. Why don’t they erect the Obama Presidential Library, Obama Memorial and make his birthday a national holiday while they’re at it? Heck, I already predict Obama’s face will grace the new three dollar bill.

Either way, the Liberals have everything covered: If Obama wins, then the American people have spoken and want change. If Obama loses, then America is a racist cesspool and Republicans stole the election. Either way, Liberals will come out of this feeling like their usual virtuous selves.
