Apparently BoA was doing millions of dollars in business with ACORN. Now they’re not. They decided whatever penalties they would be forced to pay for breaking their contracts were worth severing ties with them.

who thought the idea of this being a bill of attainder being totally ridiculous. It would take an entitlement mentality to even think so. Withholding federal monies is not a punishment, it is just stopping the rewards.
