On Sunday, Project Veritas released a bombshell undercover video featuring doctors and nurses from Health and Human Services discussing their doubts about the vaccine and how it may potentially be causing more harm than good. The same videos were shared to the account of Project Veritas founder, James O’Keefe. Not long afterward, Facebook and Instagram took down the videos from O’Keefe’s account.

Project Veritas Chief of Staff Eric Spracklen posted to Twitter that the reason behind the deletion of the videos from O’Keefe’s account was that it “could contribute to physical harm.”

How it could cause physical harm was not elaborated on by Facebook.

Adding to the confusion is the fact that while O’Keefe’s account was flagged and the video deleted from his page, the video still remains on the Project Veritas Facebook and Instagram pages. A Project Veritas staffer told RedState that while the videos had gone up around the same time, the video was struck from O’Keefe’s page within the hour.

“We think it might be a veiled threat,” he told RedState. “A message that we’re watching you.”

He also guessed that the reason they didn’t strike the video from the Project Veritas page itself was knowing that doing so would cause a Streisand effect around the video. As Project Veritas’s following has seen rapid growth over just the past two months alone on many different platforms, this is likely to be true. Once information got out that the social media giant was attempting to restrict information, people would actively go to see what it is they’re attempting to restrict.

Indeed, the video caused a stir on Twitter where Project Veritas and James O’Keefe have both been banned. Project Veritas, James O’Keefe, and the hashtag “#CovidVaxExposed” have trended on the social media platform today.

Meanwhile, Project Veritas has strong contentions about the fact that its video is not causing any kind of harm, but rather preventing it.

“We’re exposing physical harm, not causing it,” the Project Veritas staffer told RedState.

The CEO of the hospital where the undercover videos were filmed has already put out a statement saying that they’re aware of the video and acknowledged that the contents of the video are “distressing.” They’ve said they are now fielding questions and complaints.

The disruption this video has caused already has been a lot to shake the online community, but according to Project Veritas, they’re just getting started.

“This is only part one,” the Project Veritas staffer told RedState. “It gets way bigger than this.”
