Pro-Trump attorney Lin Wood has urged GOP voters to boycott the Georgia runoff elections for not going all-in for a recount in the state of Georgia over the presidential elections. However, one person has risen up and urged this call to punish GOP candidates be ignored; Donald Trump Jr.

It started when Wood said that if David Perdue (R-GA) and Senator Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) didn’t put in more effort to investigate the voter fraud in the state, then voters should withhold their votes, effectively causing them to lose their elections to the Democrats.

“Politicians love votes & money (not necessarily in that order). Want to get [Loeffler] & [Perdue] out of their basements to demand that action must be taken to fix steal of the 11/3 GA election? Threaten to withhold your votes & money. Demand that they represent you,” tweeted Wood.

As Streiff reported earlier Monday, this urging of self-sabotage on the GOP’s part was echoed by other names within the GOP such as Ali Akbar.

But despite this being Trump’s attorney, Donald Trump Jr. is standing up and declaring that this “nonsense” should be “ignored.

“I’m seeing a lot of talk from people that are supposed to be on our side telling GOP voters not to go out & vote for [Loeffler] and [Perdue],” tweeted Trump. “That is NONSENSE. IGNORE those people. We need ALL of our people coming out to vote for Kelly & David.”

Trump is correct. It is imperative at this time that we do everything in our power to keep the Senate and while it is definitely important to eliminate voter fraud, the GOP shooting itself in the foot purely out of spite is not the way to achieve any kind of positive outcome.

We’d effectively be handing over the Republic wholesale because we lost one element of control. Trump Jr. is right. There are multiple battles currently ongoing and abandoning the war because we lost one battle doesn’t track. It’s imperative that we do everything we can to win these Senate seats.

This does not mean we give up the battle to expose and destroy voter fraud. That idea is also laughable, but holding GOP senators at proverbial gunpoint with demands to do what we say isn’t just threatening them at this juncture, it’s threatening all of us.
