WATCH: Brie Larson Gets Triggered by "End Game" Co-Star Chris Hemsworth

Brie Larson might be the most controversial figures in the Marvel Cinematic Universe thanks to her political statements against white men and lackluster introduction into the Avengers ranks, but it would also appear she’s not making friends with at least one of the OG superheroes.

Thanks to a video of a supercut of interactions between Larson and Thor actor Chris Hemsworth, Larson can be seen snapping at Hemsworth for suggesting that Larson is trying to be like Tom Cruise by doing all her own stunts. This seemed to anger Larson.

“No,” Larson snapped. “I’ll be the first me, not the next Tom Cruise. Thank you very much.”

A second clip within the same interview also popped up where Hemsworth is teasing Larson about how her character isn’t the strongest character among the Avengers, which Larson seemed to become agitated by, even down to her body language.

“Is there any competition between the different sects, the different groups?” asked the Entertainment Tonight interviewer.

“There’s no competition for me because I’m the strongest, so it’s kind of like a different…” said Larson who trailed off as Hemsworth interjected.

“Well, we let her think that, but, yeah,” said Hemsworth.

The two continued to exchange jabs when Hemsworth asked if they should have a fight.

“I feel like we’re fighting right now,” said Larson. “I think it’s been an all day thing.”

While I’m not going to go so far as to say that Hemsworth and Larson are enemies, Bounding Into Comics noted that someone drew fanart of the two together which Larson retweeted to her followers and tagging Hemsworth.

Hemsworth has not responded to it but did post a video of him and his friends at Disney Shanghai.

Rumors have circulated that Larson angered some of the cast and crew of Avengers: End Game, though the speculation revolved around Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlett Witch). It was not clear if Hemsworth was among those who were angered by Larson, though there appears to be some animosity in their interactions.

Whether that’s to play up a friendly rivalry within the film or something is wrong hasn’t been revealed, though Hemsworth ignoring Larson’s tweet doesn’t help speculations. Moreover, the reaction to the back and forth between Larson and Hemsworth, especially by Entertainment Tonight’s urging, was that Hemsworth was acting as a sexist would.

Perhaps Hemsworth isn’t taking the accusations, nor the attitude from Larson lightly.
