WATCH: Students Blame Trump for Shutdown, and Then They Get Properly Educated

Universities are rife with misinformation despite being supposed bastions of higher learning, and to say that the misinformation benefits the left would be an understatement. So, of course, they’re going to view the shutdown as the fault of President Donald Trump.

This was confirmed when Campus Reform went down to George Mason University to ask the students whose fault it was that the longest shutdown in history is still ongoing. The students naturally all had one answer.

“Trump.”

The students agreed that if Trump floated compromises asked for by Democrats such as DACA protections and humanitarian funding, then surely the Dems would meet in the middle and accept terms.

Campus Reform gave them the sour news that Trump had already done that very thing and that it was still rejected by the Democrats. The students were bewildered, to say the least.

With that information in hand, the students suddenly found their opinions changing and admitting that the fault of the shutdown now belonged to the Democrats.

It just goes to show that with actual education, many students aren’t as NPC as many in academia would like, and they’ll make up their own minds based on the facts.
