UN Rejects Resolution to Condemn Hamas for Attacking Innocent Israelis Proving UN Is a Terrorist Sympathizing Organization

United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley’s resolution to have the General Assembly condemn the terrorist organization Hamas has failed, even as it continuously passes one condemnation of Israel after another.

Hamas has made it very clear that they have zero problems with killing innocent Israelis, even if said Israelis are woman and children. In fact, women and children mean very little to Hamas, as they are on the record using them as human shields against Israeli forces as documented by a U.N. report no less.

As I reported on Thursday, the U.S. lead resolution that was presented by Nikki Haley was going to face problems from the get-go from places like The Arab Group, with the Kuwaiti Ambassador asking that Haley’s resolution require a two-thirds majority vote, as opposed to a simple majority vote. Regardless, Haley pressed the vote forward.

“The resolution proposed by the United States would right a historic wrong,” Haley said according to Yahoo News. “More importantly, it would put the General Assembly on the side of truth and balance in the effort to achieve peace in the Middle East.”

“The question before us now is whether the UN thinks terrorism is acceptable if, and only if, it is directed against Israel,” she told the assembly.

Yahoo News reported that the U.N. made their decision, and terrorism against Israel is indeed acceptable according to the General Assembly. While it passed with a majority vote, the two-thirds requirement, which was approved by the European Union, prevented it from being successful:

A US resolution championed by Ambassador Nikki Haley to condemn the Palestinian Hamas movement at the United Nations for firing rockets at Israel failed to win enough votes for adoption on Thursday.

The proposed measure won 87 votes in the General Assembly, falling short of the required two-thirds majority. Fifty-eight countries opposed the measure and 32 abstained.

Hamas is celebrating the outcome of the vote and calling it a “slap in the face” to President Donald Trump and his administration.

“The failure of the American venture at the United Nations represents a slap to the US administration and confirmation of the legitimacy of the resistance,” Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zahri tweeted according to Yahoo.

This is absolutely shameful and will be a black mark on the United Nations for the remainder of its existence. That it would readily condemn Israel so much as glancing at another country the wrong way, the U.N. has proved that when it comes to actual terrorist groups, there is no problem. Hamas is a terrorist group that terrorizes the right country, apparently.

The bottom line is that the U.N. has essentially turned a blind eye to the slaughter of innocent people because they are Israeli.
