Roseanne Reveals How They Will Kill Her Character Off in Roseanne-less Spin-Off Series

President Donald Trump called Barr after an estimated 18.4 million viewers tuned in for the reboot of "Roseanne." If you were a fan of Roseanne Barr’s sitcom, then steel yourself as the network has plans to send her character off in a pretty lousy way.

According to the Daily Wire, Barr sat down with Brandon Straka on his YouTube show “Walk Away,” where she revealed how ABC will kill off her character and replace her show with a spin-off titled “The Conners”:

“Oh ya, they killed her,” she said. “They have her die of an opioid overdose.”

Barr said she’s not happy with the way she’ll be written out of the show.

“So it wasn’t enough to just do what they did to me. They had to so cruelly insult the people who loved that family and that show,” she said. “They had to cruelly insult them, and that’s what they chose to do. So there’s nothing I can do about it. It’s done. It’s over. There’s no fight left.”

Barr found herself in hot water and her show suddenly taken away from her when she noted on Twitter that Barack Obama’s former aide Valerie Jarrett looked like the “Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby.” While the comment was disgusting, I’m still not sure if Roseanne should have lost everything over it. People have said far worse than her and were actually rewarded for it.

Just ask the New York Times about their hiring policies or anyone who’s had to deal with Alec Baldwin. Of course, the New York Times’ Sarah Jeong and Baldwin both belong to the right groups. Roseanne did not, and so her comments would not be swept under the rug so easily.

In fact, because Barr wasn’t the right kind of person, the network will even kill her off in the world of her own making through a very nasty way. She doesn’t go peacefully in her sleep, nor does she die in some heroic or honorable fashion. The network has instead decided to kill Roseanne’s character off with opioids.

A sad end to a legacy.
